We distribute our products to organisations and individuals both UK and worldwide and the quality of our masts has been recognised by police forces, the military and fire departments who use our masts and ancillary products, as well as universities, security companies, English Heritage and the Health and Safety Executive. All our masts are CE marked and are packed for distribution to EU ISO standards. 

We encourage customers to visit our premises in the East Midlands for demonstrations of our product range.  We also now offer a hire service on our most popular masts for short and long term hire.

Light Weight & Portable Mast Range

If you are looking for a lightweight mast that’s portable yet robust, then Total Mast Solutions’ Lightweight & Portable Range provides the perfect solution.  Fabricated from 2mm aluminium tubing, they are thicker than others on the market, which are usually only 1.4mm, providing extra strength when conducting tasks such as aerial photography and traffic surveillance.  A choice of circumference options are available to best suit your needs with a choice of 66mm, 80mm and 101mm and extend up to 20m (65ft).  For greater resistance against wear and tear and the elements, all masts are anodised in a clear finish, however a choice of anodised colours is available.

Fast Mast Range

Our Fast Mast Range is our speediest solution, taking less than 3 minutes to erect. This self-contained system mounts to the roof rack of any vehicle, even cars, using a pivot system to ensure simple deployment.  Fast Masts are housed in a robust, lockable, powder-coated aluminium roof box that is hinged for easy access.  This protects the mast in transit and storage. All Fast Masts come with the following kit as standard: roof box and roller track system, tow hitch assembly, adjustable tripod, auxiliary stand pump, 360° pan and tilt unit, cables and ancillary items. Our Fast Masts are available from 80mm diameter right up to 250mm diameter.

Royal Mast Range

Our Royal Mast Range was named after HRH Prince Andrew visited us and has since become a firm favourite with our customers as its strength and head load make it suitable for many different applications, including holding heavy lighting and antennas. All Royal Masts are manufactured with keyways and keyed collars in the tube to prevent mast rotation in wind and are available in 64mm, 77mm, 90mm and 152mmØ and extend up to 26m.  Numerous mounting options are available for these heavy masts, including a roof mounted trolley system, adjustable through roof system, fixed or manual turning, base motorised turning alongside a range of trailer options.

Premiere Strong & Premiere Giant Range

Our Premier Strong and Premier Giant ranges offer the utmost in strength and height.  The Premier Strong has a diameter of 200mm (8”) and extends to a height of 40m (using 12 sections) supporting a top load of up to 180kg (using 8 sections).  The Giant has a diameter of 250mm and extends up to 30m (using 13 sections) and has a maximum payload of 270kg.  Each mast is fitted with keyways and keyed collars in the tube to prevent mast rotation in windy conditions. Like our other masts, the Premier Strong and Premier Giant ranges hold a CE mark of quality and are guaranteed for 2 years.

Compact Mast Range

Our range of compact masts are fabricated to the same high quality of our other masts, but have the convenience of retracting to a more compact size making handling and transporting simple.  They are also 12% lighter thanks to the lack of collars.  This mast style is particularly well suited for vehicle mounting as a cover/mounting plate provides the mast sections with protection from the elements.  Our Compact Masts are available in diameters of 64mm, 77mm, 90mm, 115mm, 152mm and 200mmØ.  You can find a video of one of our compact masts in operation on our website.

Lighting Masts

We offer an extensive range of Lighting Masts that can be used for many different applications and are a very popular choice with the emergency services, military and government departments.  The fire service in particular use remote controlled lighting masts on their fire engines.  In addition to masts we also supply a complete range of lamps in a multitude of illumination configurations, so whatever you’re looking for we’ll be able to assist.  Lighting Masts are commonly used for lighting at sports events such as rugby, football, hockey etc and are favoured over fixed lighting due to their quick extension/retraction and greater versatility in height choice.

Military Masts

The military need robust equipment that will stand up to the elements and won’t let them down.  Our range of military masts have a multitude of mounting options making them suitable for a variety of applications, whether it be for antennas, cameras, surveillance, thermal imaging or lighting our masts are made to provide the ultimate in endurance.  Masts are available in a number of colours that are suitable for military use including desert sand and military green, all of which are anodised giving excellent corrosion protection. If needed, masts can be produced with spiralled internal cables for use with data, coaxial applications and lighting.

We are proud to be a trusted provider of masts to emergency services across the globe and work with them to provide solutions for communications, onsite lighting and video.  We can work with you to design and produce one-off mast systems to suit your exact requirements and would be able to meet requests of 400 units per month.  We can offer generous discounts for any large orders, beating any like for like quotation, and are able to fulfil orders very quickly.

Communication & Antenna Masts

For simple height adjustment and placement of a range of antennas look no further than our pneumatic communication and antenna masts, which are favoured in the military for tactical communications and data gathering operations, when reliability is paramount.  We are proud to be a chosen supplier of masts for specialist vehicle builders who install our masts to a range of military, police and fire brigade vehicles. Wind Turbine & Anemometer Masts

We have been involved in designing masts for green energy applications from the very beginning and our masts are a very economical way to undertake associated work such as collecting wind speed data used in determining the most appropriate sites for wind turbines.  Our masts are robust and weather resistant due to their anodised coating making them highly suitable for outdoor use.  They are extremely simple to erect and this can be done by one person with the use of a hand pump or compressor.  Our range of mounting options includes a wireless anemometer with remote viewing screen for simplified data collection.

Sports Analysis Mast Systems

We have developed our SportsMast range to deliver portable, fixed and vehicle mounted telescopic masts for filming sporting events.  They employ the latest technology giving users the choice of capturing footage straight to PC, MAC, camcorder, external hard drive, or SportsCam PTZ, or you can use the mast for seamless integration with all packages of sports video analysis software.  To get the very best results from your SportsMast, they all come complete with a lockable wheel system that is built to endure all terrains, plus the height of the legs is adjustable to deliver professional footage even on uneven ground.  There are numerous accessories available to complete your SportsMast systems including pan and tilt mountings, remote control camera operation devices and monitors.

Mast Hire

If you are looking for one off or occasional use of a mast system, or simply want to try something out before you make a purchase then contact us to discuss our hire a mast service.  This service is the first of its kind and applies to a selection of the most popular systems.  The hire package includes everything you need, including instructions, integral hand pump, stakes, guys, weight bags and level.  We can cater for both short and long term hire and we accept payment by credit card, bank transfer or PayPal.  If you like the equipment you've hired and proceed to purchase within two weeks of the hire we’ll refund you 75% off the hire charge.
