Mill Sized Balers

Our range of mill size balers includes the Rampack 400 and 500.  The Rampack 400 is our smallest, budget-priced mill size baler, which can work its way through high volumes of cardboard and plastic to produce bales of 450 – 550 kg.  The larger Rampack 500 produces bales of 500 – 600kg, dealing with high volumes of large sized cardboard and plastic.  It is certified at 74 d(B)A, per noise regulation requirements.  Also included in this range is the Rampack Beast, an extremely powerful semi-automatic baler with three power settings to handle a wide variety of materials, including cardboard, rigid plastic, PET bottles and more.  All our mill size balers are available to hire or to buy, with no hidden costs, as delivery, installation, commissioning and training are included.

General Balers

At Mardon we have a wide range of general balers so that there is a baler to suit every application,  Our mini-baler is ideal for use by shops, schools, garages and indeed anyone needing a smaller machine to produce small bales of between 30 and 55 kg.  The ‘Workhorse’ is our most popular baler, is suited for low and medium volumes and handle a variety of materials, including cardboard, plastic, black-sack material and 20 litre steel drums.  We offer two twin chamber machines, enabling you to bale different materials at once, so you can segregate your recyclables at source.  The large aperture baler boasts a 1 x 1 m loading aperture to handle high to medium volumes.  The largest in this range, the half-mill size baler has an extra large loading aperture to handle high volumes of cardboard and plastic.

Automatic Balers

We offer a range of automatic balers, all with twin cross-rams, resulting in increased bale density, whilst taking up less space.  The smallest in this range is just 4.25 m long, but makes mill-size bales of over 350 kg.  In the middle of the range, we offer a baler that is only 4.5 m long, but is capable of producing 2.5 to 5 tonnes per hour.  Our largest automatic baler will deliver up to 8 tonnes of dense, heavy bales per hour.  There is no need for site preparation and all our automatic balers are ready to be put to work as soon as they are delivered.

Waste Compactors

A range of waste compactors is available, starting with the mini-baler, which is ideal for those with limited available floor space.  The mini bales plastic, cardboard and general waste into plastic or steel wheelie bins.  Next, as the name would suggest, the wet and dry waste bag compactor deals with both wet and dry waste and delivers an impressively high compaction rate of 5 into 1.  Our range of high volume mobile compactors can be provided with an XXL hopper or side door feed.  Finally, our static compactors are very hard working, very durable and very robust, and are available with XL or XXL load hoppers and boast a six into one compaction ratio.

Glass Compactor

We offer a glass bottle crusher which is ideal for use where space is limited or where it needs to be relatively unobtrusive, making it the ideal bottle crushing product for hotels and restaurants, pubs and clubs, as well as for recycling centres.  It is designed for ease of use and, most importantly, for safety.  Our glass bottle crusher produces an approximate 5 into 1 ratio.

Drum Crusher

Our heavy duty drum crusher is a mighty machine, capable of crushing a 205 litre used steel drum at a ratio of 6 to 8 into 1 in 40 seconds, using a force of 24 tonnes.  To ensure safety, our drum crusher has a fully enclosed shelf as well as a 30 litre collection tray, which ensures that any residual liquids do not spill or leak out.  There is a video on our website which shows the crusher in action.

Plastic Recycling Equipment

At Mardon Recycling we offer years of experience recycling plastics.  Many of the products in our range can handle plastic.  If you are looking to produce small and easy to handle bales, use the mini-baler.  To deal with general waste and recyclables, our hydraulic wheelie-bin compactor compacts into steel or plastic wheelie bins.  Our most popular baler, the ‘Workhorse’, produces bales of between 55 and 85 kg in weight.  For medium to high volume, our large aperture baler has a 1 x 1 m aperture and produces very dense bales.  Our range of mobile compactors can be put to work straight away and offer a 5 to 1 compaction ratio and optional wheelie bin lift.

Servicing & Maintenance

Our team of qualified engineers come with extensive experience and all the equipment they need to fix, service or maintain your balers, compactors and recycling equipment.  We don’t just look after our own equipment, but will sort out any brand or type.  We offer one-off overhauls or regular servicing, as well as fixing breakdowns.  If you need a machine completely refurbished, we can do that too.  All our prices are very competitive and we are happy to provide a quotation by phone or by email.
