Ardent

Klimate’s Ardent model is designed as an externally fitted door and can be manufactured up to 5 metres high and 5 metres wide. With a clear vision panel made from PVC fitted at eye level, the Ardent allows the user to easily identify incoming traffic before operating the door which has adjustable speeds on opening and closing up to 1.5 m/s. The Ardent incorporates up to date inverter technology for a smooth operation which in turn helps to reduce the need for maintenance on the mechanical parts. The Ardent also features a control panel with self diagnostic capabilities as well as Damage Limitation Tabs which aim to reduce the cost of repairing impact damage.

Ardent XP

Klimate also manufactures the Ardent XP which is an extension of the Ardent range offering an improved three phase motor able to produce much faster but still completely adjustable door speeds of up to 2 m/s. The Ardent XP also features a safety chain at floor level allowing for manual operation when needed. As with the Ardent, the XP is fitted externally, has a PVC viewing window and can be made to a maximum size of 5 metres wide and 5 metres high. Ardent Oversize

Klimate can manufacture a high speed door for even the largest of projects in the form of the Ardent Oversize which can be fitted externally up to a size of 10 metres wide and 6 metres high. The Ardent Oversize offers many of the same features as the basic Ardent model including Damage Limitation Tabs, a control panel with self diagnostic capabilities, advanced inverter technology for a smooth action and adjustable opening speeds of up to 1.5 m/s. A feature unique to the Ardent Oversize is the specially designed wind bar system which is able to resist location wind loads of up to 8 on the Beaufort scale, or gale force 10, which provides a superb stability whilst in operation under even extreme conditions.

Ardent Stainless Steel

Specifically designed for areas which require an increased level of hygiene and protection against contamination, Klimate also produces our Ardent door in a stainless steel variant which can be manufactured up to 4 metres high and 4 meters wide. Along with aiding the maintenance of a constant temperature, the Ardent Stainless Steel features a sloped canopy aimed at preventing the build up of dust on the door and a surface which can be hosed down for effective cleaning. Aside from its unique features, the Ardent Stainless Steel variant also provides all of the features found with our standard Ardent high speed door.

K2 Freezer Door

Whether your business facility requires a high speed door for the ambient or freezer sides of your freezer doorway, Klimate’s K2 Freezer Door offers an exceptional set of features including a revolutionary dehumidification system fully integrated with the door which helps to reduce running costs. Loss of cold air from the freezer is brought to a minimum thanks to the K2’s adjustable opening and closing speeds which can reach 1.5 m/s. The K2 also features our 2 ply polyester monofilament curtain which forms a double layer with an air gap of 50mm for superb insulation and maintenance of freezer temperature.

Actuation - Manual Operation, Air Lock & Radio/Infrared Transmitters

Klimate’s range of high speed doors are all available with various methods of actuation including manual operation, air lock and radio/infrared transmitters. The manual operation option provides a user-friendly operation method to which a key switch can be installed for improved security levels. The air lock configuration, where multiple doors are linked together with only one being able to be operated at a time, helps to prevent strong winds from getting in for superb temperature maintenance. Doors operated by radio or infrared transmitters require no external wiring and are only able to be operated by authorised staff with access to either hand-held or truck-mounted transmitters.

Actuation - Induction Loop, Photocell & Radar

All of Klimate’s high speed doors can be installed with a variety of actuation methods to meet the individual requirements of your business including induction loop, photocell and radar options. The induction loop method is completely automatic making it ideal for use with fork lift trucks with no risk of damage from vehicles. The photocell is also automatic as well as being fail-safe with automatic opening triggered if the photocell gets damaged. Our radar option is our final automatic actuation method which is easy to install without the need for extensive wiring. Radar is able to detect both vehicles and pedestrian traffic with the detectors commonly located above and to the sides of the door.

Safety

Klimate considers the safety of our doors of the utmost importance and have incorporated many features into all of our products within the range with the aim of keeping your staff and vehicles safe from harm and damage whilst also protecting the door and reducing repair costs. We manufacture all of our rapid roll doors with two sets of safety photocells and highly sensitive electric safety edges. Constant monitoring is maintained for an instant halting or reversing of the door in the event of an obstruction being detected.
