Our non-slip fabric is an effective and versatile anti-slip mesh product, which can be provided in a wide range of types, colours and thicknesses, with both adhesive and non-adhesive variants available. This range is offered at much lower prices than would be expected, making our non-slip fabric incredibly cost-effective.
Non-slip fabric is manufactured by applying an anti-slip foam to a polyester mesh, with the latter providing excellent strength and the former giving it non-slip qualities. Our range of non-slip fabrics includes a variety of different formats, so different levels of foam resistance can be provided, which dictates the amount of pressure that the foam can absorb and function effectively under.
Safety-Grip™ is Heskins' original anti-slip griptape, made in 1997 and still the most popular range. Safety-Grip™ tape is the adhesive tape that can provide an anti-slip surface in a whole range of conditions, with quick application and high durability.
Safety-Grip™ comes in 3 main grades; standard, coarse and X-coarse. The standard tape is the most versatile, providing excellent friction and grip for most applications. Coarse Safety-Grip™ is a deeper version, made for industrial applications. X-coarse has even deeper grit, which prevents dirt or dust clogging, and is only suitable for industrial use.
A range of colours and patterns are available for Safety-Grip™ tape, including black, yellow, red, blue, white, green, brown, grey, transparent, fluorescent yellow, black/yellow chevrons and red/white chevrons.
In the event of a power outage in the workplace, lack of visibility can be an inconvenience at best and a safety hazard at worst. As such, it is wise to make sure that exits, stairways and walkways are illuminated even when the power goes out.
That is why we produce a range of glow in the dark tapes, that can be used on stair nosings, door frames, stairways, exits and more, to assure that everything is visible. These tapes harness photoluminescent technology, absorbing natural or artificial light when available and emitting the light when it becomes dark.
Our glow in the dark materials are non-toxic, and do not contain any phosphorous or radioactive material.
Creating non-slip coating for wet environments such as bathrooms, swimming pools and boats has always been challenging, but at Heskins, we have developed a solution in the form of our unique aqua-safe and non-abrasive anti-slip tape.
This tape has a special non-slip coating that provides a smoother surface than traditional abrasive solutions, meaning that it is suitable for areas in which people may be walking barefoot. In addition, our non-abrasive material is easier to clean than abrasive surfaces, due to the production method creating no hidden areas. This means that it can be used in areas that have strict cleaning requirements, such as laboratories or food preparation areas.
Painted walkways can be very time-consuming and costly to paint, given that the whole walkway area must be painted, left to dry, then have signage painted on top. In addition, if painted surfaces are not treated properly, they can be slippery when wet. The solution to this is our anti-slip walkway, which comprises of a large roll of printed anti-slip material that can be applied much quicker than a painted walkway.

While the traditional method would involve creating a stencil, masking, painting and waiting for paint to dry, the Heskins fire exit marker can be applied as one piece in a matter of minutes. This makes it a very time and cost effective way to make your fire exits safer.
While Durbar plate, chequer plate and diamond tread are used in abundance for application in fire exits, access platforms and walkways, they are not as safe to walk on as is believed. As metal is not a particularly grippy substance, Durbar plate surfaces tend to be very slippy, and the pattern actually causes more of a hazard due to reducing the amount of surface area that footwear can grip.
Attempts to make Durbar plate safer through use of non-slip coating were generally unsuccessful, as conventional non-slip tapes would rise when stretched into the valleys of the metal plate. As such, we provide conformable anti-slip tape, which has class O soft aluminium foil backing with zero stretch tolerance, assuring that it will remain in place.

We are pleased to supply PermaStripe®, the world’s most effective aisle marking tape. PermaStripe® is available in a range of colours including blue, black, green, orange, red, red/white, white, yellow/ black, yellow, fluorescent yellow and glow in the dark. It features a high quality adhesive with an edge to edge coating to ensure ultimate durability and longevity of use. PermaStripe® is extremely easy to apply by simply peeling off the back liner and sticking to the appropriate surface. The tape is available in 50mm, 75mm or 100mm width rolls and 30m rolls for long length application. Various formats are available including rolls, shapes, numbers, letters, arrows, disks and more. Our ColorCover self-adhesive signs enable customers to display their own printed notifications or messages. The ColorCover sign is available in five colours (white, black, green, yellow and blue) and can be applied to a range of surfaces such as doors, walls, marking bays and walkways. It is easy to use by simply placing the pre-printed sign face down on the back of the ColorCover, removing the backing film and applying to the surface. ColorCover signs are available in two sizes; large 401mm x 314mm and regular 314mm x 252mm. We can accommodate specific ColorCover colour requirements if required.
Heskins supplies high quality corrosion protection tape to protect against galvanic corrosion. Our corrosion protection tape is available in rolls, sheets and die cuts which can be combined to achieve specific sizes. H3453 Corrosion Protection Tape is highly effective in preventing the process of galvanic corrosion. The tape features a plastic film with an adhesive backing. When it is placed between two metal surfaces it acts as a barrier which prevents galvanic corrosion. We hold large amounts of stock at any one time to meet customer requirements as quickly as possible. Die cut orders may take a little longer to deliver.
