Flat, shaped or machined parts can be processed, externally and internally, specific finishes produced (grained, brushed, polished, linear short scratch pattern, linear long or cintinuos scratch pattern, circular, random, swirled) edges radiussed, chamfers produced, welds dressed and blended, and complex shapes generated, all with or without changing surface properties or removing surface coatings.
Processes utilise abrasive belts, brushes, discs, vibrating media, mops and compounds, electro-chemical action and ultra-high pressure water; controlled by CNC, PLC or an operator; stand-alone or integrated into a cell or line
Recent additions to the range, developed from ECD (Electro Chemical Deburring) and ECM (Electro Chemical Machining), include PECM (Pulsed Electro Chemical Machining) for manufacturing blisks, turbine blades, dies and surgical implants from raw to finished item.
