DKL is pleased to carry out top quality rubber to metal
bonding procedures – usually by transfer moulding – to create products for customers
in a wide range of industries.
Our highly skilled and experienced team degreases metal
surfaces that are to be bonded to before shot blasting and painting them with
suitable bonding agents. Once this process has been completed the metals are placed
into the cavity mould and the rubber is placed into the transfer pot ready to
be injected into the cavity. The parts are then cured, removed and cooled down.
Please visit our website or call our friendly team at DKL to find out more about our rubber to metal bonding services.
Our team carries out transfer moulding processes in order to
create a range of top quality rubber products of consistent quality in small or
large quantities.
Before the moulding takes place, the amount of material is
measured and inserted into the chamber (pot) and a plunger is used to force the
material from the pot through channels into mould cavities which remain closed
while the material is inserted. The mould walls are then heated to a
temperature above melting point to create a faster flow of material through the
cavities.
To find out more about the transfer moulding process or to
discuss your requirements, please contact us at DKL and we will be happy to
help.
We are pleased to provide first class compression moulding
services. The method of compression moulding is used to create a range of complex,
high-strength objects quickly and efficiently.
The process of rubber moulding features the placement of the moulding material (usually pellets or sheets) in an open, heated mould cavity. The mould is closed with a top plug and pressure is applied to force the materials into contact with the mould areas. Heat and pressure are maintained in order to cure before removing and cooling down.

to discuss your requirements, please contact us at DKL.
