Key Management

Traka provides key management systems for tracking the use of keys within an organisation. Software-driven key cabinets allow you to restrict who can access your keys and which keys they are allowed to take. Multiple cabinets can be networked and controlled from one central point, giving you total key control and monitoring with a fully audited history of all your key transactions. 

How does it work?

Each key or keyset is attached (using a tamper-proof security seal) to a metal iFob. The iFob is an extremely strong nickel-plated brass cylinder containing an electronic chip which gives each key or keyset a unique identity. Thus they are electronically tagged, allowing you to see when they are in place and when they are in use. When not in use, the iFob locks into a receptor strip within the key cabinet until released by an authorised user. 

Intelligent Locker Systems

Intelligent locker systems from Traka are ideal for securely storing and restricting access to valuable tools and equipment. They allow you to control exactly who can access which piece of equipment, preventing misuse, loss, damage or even theft. Using intelligent software, security staff can easily set up access permissions – and also adjust them when circumstances change (for example, a user completes training in the use of a specific piece of equipment). Emergency Exit
