Maintenance Automation Software Training, or, M.A.S.T. Systems was established 14 years ago and specialises in all aspects of control automation; from small standalone single PLC units through to full turnkey systems with control panels and electrical installation. Located in Winsford, Cheshire the accredited integrators for both Mitsubishi and Schneider have highly trained engineering staff who regularly attend manufacturer’s training courses in order to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry.

Currently in the process of achieving ISO900/2000 and a company who makes each and every system to match specific requirements, M.A.S.T. Systems has a broad range of experience in many industries including food and dairy, electro-chlorination & water-treatment, automotive and many more and their engineers have over 15 years’ experience with leading food companies such as Alfa Laval and Tetra Pak! In addition we can also offer training and structure a course around a particular piece of equipment.

Maintenance

Our maintenance engineers can visit your site during non-production times, shut-downs or, if you prefer, at your busiest time to help ensure that your production is maintained at peak performance. Automation

M.A.S.T. Systems would welcome any opportunity to discuss your software and control requirements and any other aspects of automation; whether it’s for a new plant or regarding modifications to an existing program and automation system. All of our control panels are designed to customers’ specifications and in full consultation. We can produce drawings for existing plants and all panels, which are constructed to current BSEN regulations, will be checked by our highly qualified staff prior to their release. Additionally, all software is bespoke in order to meet the customer’s precise requirements and is fully tested prior to commissioning on site.

Software

At M.A.S.T. Systems we believe that the simpler the software, the easier the maintenance. As system integrators for Mitsubishi and Schneider we can write bespoke software to meet your exact requirements and have it fully tested by our engineering team. We have completed many successful HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) and have experience in many systems including Siemens S7, Mitsubishi A, FX & Q, Yokogawa FAM3, Allen Bradley SLC & Control Logix and Schneider Twido & Unity Pro. Training

From PLC basics to advanced courses on specific PLC or SCADA systems, our highly qualified and experienced staff have run many automation training courses, and, with both books and magazine articles published our ability to train your staff is further reinforced. By training your staff to get the most out of your plant, you will ultimately reduce downtime and boost your production figures. Whilst the manufacturers’ courses are expensive and rarely flexible to the operation of the customer’s site, we can run courses with specific exercises; which mirror your own plant and application - on-site and completely at your convenience.

Projects

We have carried out a vast range of work for a variety of companies in both the food and non-food industries. We’ve worked at Bumble Hole Foods on CIP and routing, Saputo -on their mozzarella line, Daniels Chilled Foods - orange juice extraction and routing. We’ve handled Energy Reclamation at Refgas, worked on a polymer plant at Strata Technologies and worked on a drill rig for Marlin Industries. Control Systems

In full consultation with you at all times, drawings can be produced for existing plants and totally designed to your specifications. We can carry out any replacements of your existing automation with more up-to-date PLCs mounted on back plates and supplied complete with cross-reference and all wiring diagrams. What this brings to you is updated automation without the cost of new panels. Additionally, if you have lost or damaged the drawings for your current panels we can visit your site, assess the problem and redo your documentation. We supply all documentation in both disk and hard-copy formats for your convenience.

SpecView

With unique software that’s both simple to configure and cost-effective, M.A.S.T. Systems is proud to be a distributor for SpecView data monitoring software and its associated hardware interface modules. The software offers numerous abilities including auto configuration, bar & trend charts, event & alarm logging, alarm/log & event reporting, historical replays, a strategy controller and various MODMUX data acquisition modules. CIP Control Systems

With all of our CIP (Cleaning In Place) Systems being fully configurable for time, temperature, conductivity, flow and return pumps where required, M.A.S.T. Systems has automated and commissioned CIP Systems and control panels for a wide variety of customers over the years, both large and small and for a great number of products and applications. Allowing access to all parameters, the systems are PLC controlled with an operator interface; either text based or full graphic touch screen.
