Technical Elevator Services Ltd was established in 2000 and is now recognised as one of the leading providers of installations, repairs and maintenance of lift systems and elevator services, across the whole of the UK. Originally based in Wokingham, we now have offices nationwide which allows us to provide more services to more people. Due to the companies ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System, we can guarantee a high quality, professional service at all times.


We have provided our services to many organisations including PLCs, Local Government, National Health Organisations and Small to Medium Businesses, as well as private individuals and the list continues to grow. The reason we have so many clients who continue to do business with us is that we provide a fast, efficient service with technical expertise that is second to none. We also tailor our services to suit all budgets and recognise the importance of cost effectiveness. 

Standard Maintenance Contract

Customers who choose our Standard Maintenance Contract can expect a wide array of services. These include adjustments and minor repairs to be carried out during service visits but only if these have been caused by normal use and do not require new parts or equipment. We will also provide all lubricant and cleaning materials other than that required for the replenishment of gearboxes and hydraulic systems. We will also carry out all necessary cleaning of the plant other than the cleaning of the shaft exposure. It should also be noted that additional charges may be incurred for excessive amounts of lubricant or hydraulic fluid.

Semi Comprehensive Maintenance Contract

Our Semi Comprehensive Maintenance Contract will include everything offered within our standard contract as well as extra services. These services include, call-outs requested through our control room during normal working hours with labour being free as long as it is only an adjustment that is required. Any services that require a spare part to be fitted or are due to damage by vandalism or misuse will incur a charge. A charge will also be incurred for call-outs that end up being abortive. Also, calls made out of normal working hours will be at prevailing overtime rates.

Fully Comprehensive Maintenance Contract

Our Fully Comprehensive Maintenance Contract involves all of the services available in our Standard and Semi Comprehensive Contracts along with others. Other services include the free supply and fit of components within working hours providing the fault in question was caused due to standard wear and tear. The replacement of components due to any other damage will incur extra charges, as will call-outs that are due to vandalism, misuse or end up abortive. The cost of labour and materials in replacing certain items is excluded, these include Control Panels, Gear Units, Cylinder Units, Motors and Generators, Structures, Car Enclosures and the Power Supply.

Minor Repairs

We at Technical Elevator Services can help to repair a wide range of problems, from faults to minor annoyances. Even small repairs can affect your day to day schedule and any time that is lost or wasted due to a fault is a hindrance for the working day. Major Repairs

Major lift problems can be even more serious and in many cases may require immediate attention. The fault may have an effect on the health and safety of your building or maybe it's just inconvenient, either way we can help. Supplementary Tests

As well as repairs and adjustments, Technical Elevator Services can provide customers with the necessary Supplementary Tests needed for your equipment. These are extremely important as they provide companies with assurance that their systems are running safely and in accordance with law. The tests include a full range of SAFed annex 20 assessments on all types and manufacture of equipment. We can also provide full reports and certification on our findings and in if necessary, recommendations on how to ensure your equipment meets current standards.

Modernisation

Your lift system can say a lot about your company and therefore old and tired equipment can harm your reputation. Customers can call TES and we can send out one of our experts to take a look at your system and advise you on the best way to modernise. Our approach is extremely flexible and therefore our service will be tailored to your specifications. Overseeing your project will be a senior manager who will be in charge and advised by a specially trained lift engineer with an expertise in modernising. However large or small your building may be, we are your number one choice for lift system modification.
