The CIEH level 2 award for health and safety in the health and social care sector gives employees a thorough grounding on the issues of legislation, health, safety, welfare, hygiene awareness, hygiene hazards, personal hygiene and cleaning. This is a course specifically targeted at employees in the health and social care sector, though it is not exclusively reserved for this field. Course duration is 6 hours, and assessment comes in the form of a multiple choice examination. The CIEH Level 2 award in health and safety in the health and social care field is QCA accredited.
