Rate of Pay: Band H £21.71 to £24.28 PAYE (Inside IR35)

Hours: 37 Hours

Location: Citizen and Consumer Protection, Environmental Heath, 3rd Floor, 335-337 High Street, West Bromwich, B70 8LU

Start Date: ASAP

Contract type: Agency. This is a minimum 6-month opportunity with a strong possibility of a further 6 month extension.

Brief description:

We have an exciting opportunity, Citizen & Consumer Protection Team Manager (Trading Standards) within Regulatory Services at Sandwell MBC.

We are looking for a committed and driven individual to join the team in this Team Manager position. You will be a qualified Trading Standards professional, with Weights and Measures and Food Competency. You will have an important role in shaping the service and taking it forward to ensure current and future needs are met.

You will be pivotal in leading the team on the continuous development and improvement of the service and you will put effective plans in place to achieve key objectives. You will be innovative and look for new ways to tackle existing problems. You should have a proven track record of delivering results and be passionate enough to motivate others to succeed.

A Standard DBS is required for this role.
