Young Markets

Formed in 1999, Young Markets is the trading name for the partnership of G.F. Young & P. Young which is based in Camberley, Surrey. We offer a range of courses and services based around improving presentations, whether that be training or development. We have a wide variety of courses which are highly versatile and range in length and content but all are devised to enhance your professional credibility. Participants can choose to undertake more in depth programmes within a group or if they prefer, a tailored personal coaching session. We also provide online learning resources for people who may not have the time to attend a one or two day session. As well as courses, Young Markets can provide a presentation development service for those people who would prefer a more external perspective.

1 Day Executive Courses

These one day courses are aimed at individuals who already have some experience in giving presentations but who wish to gain even more experience in talking to groups. This course can also act as a refresher for those who haven't given presentations in a while and who just require a catch up session. The teaching style is interactive and based on the OSRAM approach which places emphasis on the combination of both art and science. The benefits that are gained upon completing this course are invaluable and will help you in every aspect of your presenting.

2 Day Executive Courses

The two day executive course is a much more in depth look at the creation and delivery of presentations. The two days are packed with lots of practical exercises and are the perfect way for novice presenters to build up a solid base of experience. As well as learning how to overcome anxiety, the course will illustrate to learners how to give a presentation that is not only successful but engaging and memorable. The benefit of having the course over two days is that specific points can be looked at in greater depth, for example room layout.

In House Training

Our in house training can provide a much more personal and tailored experience with a wider range of presentation skills being taught when compared with the public courses. The in house training also goes beyond presentation as there are courses available that are based around leadership and introduction to management. If you require any specific requirements we are happy to meet ahead of time and draw up a personalised plan for your course structure. The in house training can be completed over a single hour or over two days, it's up to you.

Personal Coaching

If you have an important presentation coming up, whether it be a product launch or a business proposal, you may require a different approach. To make sure your presentation skills are at their best, you may benefit from personal, one on one coaching. With this type of coaching being so tailored, it will only be relevant content that is covered and so this course can be very cost effective. Those who may not be able to afford a a whole day course but require an honest critique of their skills should consider personal coaching.

E-Training

Some people may be unwilling to take a whole day off work or may prefer to do their learning online. At www.salestrainingonline.com you have access to wide range of business based resources in convenient bite size pieces. There are 20 different modules on the site covering all aspects of sales and marketing with each module taking around 30 minutes. With so many modules to choose from, learners can choose just one that they need to or decide to take the whole course. There is also an online assessment tool at the end of each module to test how much learners have taken in.

Team Building

We offer a leadership and management course which is designed to equip learners with the tools and experience needed to effectively lead their teams. The programme allow participants to make sense of the theories involved using highly participative and interactive exercises. The basis of the course is a two day core programme with extra one day modules afterwards, allowing learners to build up their knowledge further. Each attendant will also have a personal TMS profile created for them which will allow them to understand where they can make the best contribution to different teams and why.

Demonstration Training

An important part of many presentations is the demonstration of your product. By this point you will probably know your product inside and out but you may not be choosing the best method to show it off. Our workshop walks through conducting the perfect demo, namely how to grab everyone's attention and illustrate all the best features of your product. One of the main principles we follow when advising on demonstrations is to think of your structure like a pyramid and do "your best bit first". The workshop lasts for one day and participants are expected to bring their own laptop to practice their presentations.

Presentation Development

As well as providing training for people to improve their presentation skills we also develop presentations themselves for various companies. In some cases, when businesses are working very closely with a product or solution, they can lack the impartiality needed to construct an effective presentation. We will take the time to fully understand exactly what your product represents as well as its position within the marketplace before we compile a presentation. So your employees no exactly when to make the right points, we will also provide you with detailed speaker notes along with your PowerPoint slides.
