Green Solutions

Introducing our new range of low-energy reverse osmosis units, available in various sizes to handle liquid outputs of between 90 and 30,000 litres per hour. These compact units offer the very latest in low-pressure reverse osmosis membrane design, reducing the need for large pumps and lowering energy consumption by up to 30%. 

The Ionmaster ACTB deioniser is another green solution provided by Wychwood. It enables you to recycle, re-polish and re-use valuable deionised water, saving you a great deal of money and significantly reducing waste. The introduction of an Ionmaster ACTB deioniser has also been shown to improve water quality, which in turn improves product quality and increases yields.

Commercial Filtration

Commercial filtration equipment can be installed on its own or as part of a water treatment system in order to remove suspended solids, chlorine, iron, manganese or organic substances prior to deionisation and reverse osmosis processes. The plant will incorporate filtration media which is specific to the substance that needs to be removed. In situations where there is more than one contaminant present in the water supply, filtration systems will have multiple layers of media. System Design & Engineering

Although we can of course provide softeners, filtration systems, deionisers and reverse osmosis systems as stand-alone products, most of our activity as a business revolves around the design and installation of customised systems that incorporate a combination of equipment. We listen to your needs and analyse your process requirements in order to a provide bespoke solution that supports your water purification objectives. Over the years we have gained a considerable amount of experience designing, installing and maintaining systems for customers across a wide variety of industries.

Water Softeners and Filtermat Filtration Systems

We manufacture a range of quality water softeners suitable for use as stand-alone units or as part of a water treatment system designed and manufactured by us. The range covers everything from small cabinet-based domestic and commercial units to large bespoke systems with flow rates in excess of 40,000 litres per hour. 

We also offer a range of filtration systems designed to remove suspended solids, organic matter and certain chemicals from water supplies. These too can be used on their own or as part of a larger system (prior to deionisation and reverse osmosis processes).

Containerised Plant

Wychwood can install water treatment equipment within a 10, 20 or 40 foot ISO shipping container. There are a number of reasons for opting for containerised plant:

• It enables you to meet your water treatment requirements without the expense of expanding plant-room capacity. 
• It is set up for immediate installation, meaning water can be processed almost as soon as it arrives. 
• It minimises disruption to operations. 
• It is fully portable, giving you future flexibility.

Containerised water treatment plant is pre-commissioned at the Wychwood factory. Full documentation is provided upon delivery. 

Washer Disinfectors

The Ionmaster 20-30 is a water disinfection system which is fully compliant with HTM2030 and C30. It offers assured water purity and microbial control and enables continuous monitoring of system conditions. It has a make up capability of 200-600 litres per hour.

Deioniser Cylinders

Field Service Engineers

We have a team of field service engineers who are trained to the very highest standard. They are qualified to perform a range of tasks, including:

Training Seminars

We offer customer training seminars for the operation and maintenance of our own equipment and that of other manufacturers. These are usually delivered on the customer’s premises so that references can be made directly to the equipment that trainees will be using. The seminars cover a range of topics, from the basic chemistry of water to the principles of reverse osmosis. Practical training in the use of equipment is also given. Deionisation Systems

We offer a comprehensive range of automatically regenerable deioniser units covering all flow and water quality requirements. These can be supplied as stand-alone units or as duplexed units to provide a continuous supply of deionised water to the service. They feature various inputs and outputs that allow them to interface with external equipment and alarm systems, and they also have integral message displays which provide information on the state of the unit. The regeneration cycle is fully automatic, being initiated by a conductivity meter that continuously monitors water quality. These compact units are manufactured from proven components with a minimal amount of moving parts – this improves reliability, reduces maintenance requirements and makes installation much more straightforward. 

Reverse Osmosis Systems

Wychwood has developed three types of RO system. These are:

• Ionmaster – These reliable, cost-effective units provide pure water flows of up to 30m³ per hour. They use low energy membranes to minimise operating costs. 
• Ionmizer – These compact, cabinet-based units provide pure water flows of 400, 800 or 1200 litres per hour. They use low-pressure, low-energy membranes and have a 5 micron pre-filter included as standard. Suitable for wall, floor or bench mounting. 
• Labstar range – Suitable for laboratories or manufacturing facilities where only small volumes of purified water are required. These also use low pressure membranes which consume minimal power.
