We offer a range of products that allow individual hauliers, warehouse operations and distribution centres to plan, monitor and manage the progress of their consignments in real-time.


The systems we supply combine online job entry platforms with map-based planning and tracking applications, in-cab electronic data capture software, online customer portals and e-invoicing facilities. More information on these individual elements can be found in the sections below.

Transport Management Software

Our Helios SQL Transport Management Software has been developed for hauliers who are primarily involved in Multi-Drop and Groupage work. The system is designed to help you administer the building of complex loads and plan journeys of multiple steps whilst taking into account vehicle and trailer capacity as well as vehicle, trailer and driver availability. It allows you to prepare all necessary paperwork and barcoded labels and to send them to any partner or subcontractor who may have an interest or is involved in the journey. Warehouse Management Software

Helios SQL Warehouse Management Software helps you to optimise warehouse space whilst minimising wasted capacity. It has a flexible, user-friendly interface that allows you to deal with different customer requirements all at the same time. The movement of goods through the warehouse is tracked through simple statuses in customisable inbound and outbound windows. Professional and Enterprise editions of this software allow you to do even more (such as manage multiple warehouses, track goods in real-time with barcode scanning and time how long it takes to perform various warehousing tasks). Customer

Vigo’s e-invoice application enables you to send invoices from your TMS or DMS system by email. This means you can save time and money that would otherwise be spent physically compiling documents and sending them in the post. It also means that all invoice transmissions will be fully traceable. 


The application enables you to assign email addresses to each customer so that invoices are automatically emailed upon completion of a consignment. Invoices that are not emailed will automatically be printed out for you to send. 


Online

The transport and warehouse management systems we offer integrate seamlessly with our online Customer Portal. This is where customers can enter jobs, track and trace their goods and see electronic PODs and all statuses from EDC devices carried by drivers. They can also view paper PODs that have been scanned in. When delivery is made, the customer will be sent an automated message of confirmation. They can then examine both electronic and paper PODs as well as a facsimile of the signature that was taken using the driver’s mobile EDC device.

POD Scanning & Retrieval

POD (Proof of Delivery) scanning is an important part of the Vigo haulage management system. As the driver delivers consignments, he or she scans and indexes the POD using his/her EDC device. The PODs are stored as PDF images and assigned to the appropriate job/consignment within the haulage management system. If preferred, scanning and indexing can be split into two separate jobs (with the driver scanning and a system administrator assigning the document from a computer elsewhere – note that both actions do not have to take place at the same time). Once the documents are assigned they become fully searchable. The documents will also be available on the Vigo Customer Portal.

InCab

Our in-cab EDC software allows drivers to record the progress of each job so that others may monitor it in real-time. They can use it to update their position and to capture signatures upon delivery of goods. This data can be made available for customers to view in the Vigo Customer Portal. 


EDC software also helps to improve communication. Jobs, messages and collection requests can be transmitted directly to the driver, eliminating the need for time-consuming and error prone phone calls.
