Products

Whether you are venting steam, air or other gases, Ventx will help you find a positive solution to silencing your industrial vent systems. Our products are custom designed, developed and built to accommodate for almost any application so that the requirements of our customers are always fulfilled. A Ventx industrial silencer provides a back pressure which reduces valve noise. They are compatible with many types of valve; that's why all of our silencer inlets are designed and produced with reference to a design code.

Our industrial silencers are manufactured from top quality materials and are designed to withstand thermal shocks typically produced by high pressures and temperatures created when venting. We employ experienced, highly-qualified engineers and fabricators to guarantee a top performance and build quality. It's no wonder why a multitude of companies from the petrochemical and service industries look to Ventx to manufacture a solution for their noisy vents and pipework.

With over a decade's worth of experience in the design of industrial silencers, Ventx is more than happy to take on any challenge. Providing an exceptional level of customer service has been the cornerstone of our success, and we aim to offer the answers to every noise problem. We'll work with you every step of the way to ensure the project is in-line with your exact requirements.

So if you need a first-class, affordable solution to your noise control problems, give us a call and speak to one of our highly trained representatives today.

Atmospheric Vent Discharge Industrial Silencers - Visit our website

A vent silencer reduces unwanted noises created by gas or steam flow discharging directly into the atmosphere from a pipeline. Noise is generally generated because of the high velocity flow through the valves and/or turbulence created around restricting obstacles. Our atmospheric vent discharge industrial silencers employ a combination of diffuser design and an absorptive core section. Gas or steam enters the silencer via a multi-hole diffuser where it can expand through a number of holes into the expansion chamber. Vent type silencers can be designed to be mounted horizontally or vertically and are available with optional bird screens and weather-hoods. Our designs have been used in high pressure vents, steam vents, safety relief valve outlets, purge and flare outlets, and system blow downs.

Control Valve Silencers - Visit our website

Our control valve silencers feature the same acoustic design principles as vent silencers. Attenuation is achieved using a combination of diffuser design and an absorptive section. Control valve silencers are usually designed to a pressure code (ASME B31.3, ASME VIII or PD5500), and are ideal for gas and hydrocarbon lines. To find out more about the control valve silencers that Ventx build, please visit our website or give us a call!

Direct In-Line Silencers - Visit our website

These clever units are designed to achieve the required attenuation using only an absorptive section, with as little pressure loss as possible. Manufactured to a suitable pressure code, our direct in-line silencers are often used on compressor inlets and outlets. They may be supplied as a simple diffuser silencer, or alternatively as an insert silencer for pipes or vessels.

Steam or Gas Ejector Silencers - Visit our website

Our model SES and GES silencers have been designed specifically for use with steam or hydrocarbon Gas injectors. We calculate the ejector noise and flow mixture to come up with a silencer that is tailored for your application. Don't hesitate to give Ventx a call today to find out more about our silencers. Our engineers are happy to discuss your requirements and will go beyond the call of duty to find a solution.

How it Works - Visit our website

You may be wondering how we are able to build customised silencers that are designed specifically for your application. The diameter of the silencer is determined by the flow rate of the gas. It's important to use the correct size for the gas to safely pass through without eroding acoustical packing or regenerating noise. The length of the silencer depends on the degree of noise reduction required. Ventx silencers incorporate a combination of diffuser design and an absorptive core section comprising of perforated flow passages which are surrounded by long, dense strands of fibreglass acoustical packing. This provides a wide range of attenuation in mid to high frequencies. Remember, we're here to help you find the right solution for your application, so don't delay in giving us a call to see what we can do for you!
