Father and son team Peter and Terry Fay set up TP Fay on the 30th October 1978. Terry had noticed a gap in the market in the supply of heating elements and TP Fay was formed to source, supply and custom form these elements as well as other specialist products. In the intervening years TP Fay has grown to have one of the UK’s largest stocks of straight length heating elements and are also renowned for their expertise in rebuilding heaters that are old, rare or burnt out. In addition to our superb range and superior quality products, TP Fay customers are guaranteed a fast turnaround, superb customer service and flexibility. We work on orders of all sizes no matter how small and we pride ourselves on the high standards of all work. Immersion Heaters

At TP Fay we are able to create a bespoke immersion heater element from scratch that is an ideal solution for both domestic and commercial customers who are faced with an immersion heater element that is burnt out, obsolete or is a rare model. By having TP Fay make your immersion heater element to you precise specifications from our stock components you will have your heater up and running in a matter of days. TP Fay’s custom made immersion heater elements have proven to be a cost effective and efficient way to solve liquid heating problems.

Formed Elements

TP Fay are able to turn any straight element into a design of your choice and to your exact specifications. We can turn tubular metal sheathed rod elements into a range of complex shapes using our expert techniques and tooling. We use state of the art, custom made CNC machinery to form heating elements quickly and we are able reproduce parts in high volumes. Our machinery is capable of producing both simple and complex multi axis formations and is easy to program so it fulfils all our customer’s bespoke heating element requirements.

Straight Elements

TP Fay have literally thousands of straight elements ready for off the shelf purchase and our tubular straight elements are available in a selection of materials that are suitable for a variety of uses and they are supplied annealed and ready for manipulation. We can supply our elements with fixing bushes and other mountings and we are able to bend them to your specific requirements if needed. Our straight elements are extremely versatile and are used in almost all industries in a variety of applications. We are able to provide different sheath materials and lengths, as well as a choice of watts loading, voltages, inactive lengths, mounting methods and different end terminations.

Catering Spares

TP Fay’s extensive range of catering spares makes us the chosen supplier for many catering companies, including Moorwood Vulcan, Jackson and Sadia Refrigeration. We add new lines to our stock on a daily basis and we currently hold a selection of thermostats, rod thermostats, simmerstats, gas controls, plumbing, electrical and hardware supplies for all the leading manufacturers including Dualit Electrolux, Miele (Commercial) E & R Moffatt Ad Zanussi (Electrolux), as well as many others.  In addition to spares and parts, we can also offer top of the range catering equipment at extremely competitive prices.

Bespoke Design

We are proud to be able to offer our customers a full design and build service that can cater for heaters of all needs and applications. Despite our vast range, customers offer approach us with very precise requirements which is when we use our years of knowledge and experience to create a heater to meet their specifications. In many cases we are often able to rebuild or fix the heater that is already in-situ but when that is not applicable we can design one from scratch. We work with clients on a wide range of projects from individual one off order to large multiple purchases. We will always provide our customers with honest advice and straightforward technical help.

Draw, Fax, Scan,Text, Make

One of the unique services that TP Fay offers is the ability for our customers to send us drawings of their heating elements by fax, scan or email attachment. Customers can hand or computer sketch their drawing and include on their email or fax the desired wattage, voltage and dimensions, we will then custom make the heating element for you in house. You can send us your artwork in the following formats; dwg, dxf, SolidWorks or as PDF. TP Fay can offer a fast turnaround and dispatch on all custom made heating elements.

Ordering & Delivery

We always like to provide our customers with a personal service at TP Fay and as many of our products are bespoke, we ensure that we keep in constant contact with our customers either by phone, fax, email or in person to keep them updated on the progress of their order. We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal, cash, cleared cheques or direct bank transfer depending on the preference of our customer. We offer Next Day delivery on purchases within the UK mainland using our trusted carrier or we can send smaller items by Royal Mail Special Delivery. We use UPS, FedEx, or DHL for international deliveries depending on the location and type of service requested.

Repairs

We can offer our customers a thorough repair service to save them time and money. Our many years of experience in the industry means that we are able to repair old, obsolete and burnt out heating elements at a fraction of the cost it would be to replace them. We can work on equipment of all sizes and we recently replaced a special flange on a Cocoa Ingredient Process Heater with stainless steel baffle plates, which saved our customer thousands of pounds against the quote given to them by the equipment manufacturer and the repair was completed in a faster time than it would have taken to order and receive the replacement item.
