PASMA Mobile Access Tower Training

This course is perfect for those who use both alloy and fibreglass mobile access towers (approved to BS EN 1004:2004). Users will be taught the essentials of how to safely erect, move, inspect, dismantle and use mobile access towers. The PASMA certification is the most widely recognised qualification for mobile tower use and therefore clients are assured of the high quality of training they will receive. Some of the topics that will be covered include relevant health and safety regulations, safe erection, personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as much more.

IPAF Scissor and Boom Lift Training

Our IPAF certified, Scissor and Boom Lift Training is an essential course for workers who use Cherry Pickers. Users will learn how to safely operate both types of mobile elevated work platforms, as well as useful skills such as selection and pre-inspection of equipment. Our training will take you all the way from how to start and stop the machinery to health and safety as well as much more. Users will be tested at the end of the course with a multiple choice exam, of which the pass mark is 80%. Once the written test is passed, users can continue to the practical assessment.

Emergency First Aid Training

First aid is incredibly important and is often the difference between life and death. Our emergency first aid training is suitable for those who work in a low risk environment and would just like to buffer the provisions that are already in place. Some of the course subject matter includes record keeping, the unconscious casualty, choking and bleeding as well as much more. Upon completing the course, users will be awarded a "Emergency First Aid at Work" certificate which is valid for 3 years.

UKATA Asbestos Awareness

Asbestos is a silent killer with more people on average dying from asbestos poisoning than on the roads each year. It is also noteworthy that according to regulations, everyone who is liable to be exposed to asbestos has to complete compulsory training. These rules apply to many different professions and with the governing bodies coming down harder on companies who don't train their staff, it has never been more important to be aware of asbestos. Our course covers a wide range of topics including health effects, types of asbestos containing materials and likely locations where it could be found, as well as much more.

IOSH Managing Safely

This course is suitable for managers and supervisors in a range of sectors who wish to develop skills and meet relevant industry legislation. The course helps individuals to manage safely and achieve best practise within a range of business settings. Candidates on this course will learn the core skills needed to review organisational standards, critically examine systems of work and develop a safety-based work ethic. Various practical exercises will be carried out and the course will conclude with a formal examination. The IOSH Managing Safely certificate will be awarded to successful candidates.

NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety

The NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety course runs for 10 days and is aimed at personnel (managers, supervisors etc) who require the skills and recognised certification in occupational health and safety. The NEBOSH course is based on three units: Management of Health and Safety – Foundations in Health and Safety, Controlling Workplace Hazards and Health and Safety Practical Application. On completion of these three units, successful candidates will have a sound understanding of occupational health and safety and will be awarded with recognised certification.
