Welcome to Ti-Tek (UK) Ltd, your premium stockist and supplier of Titanium raw materials. Ti-Tek supplies UK industry with Titanium in a wide range of forms and grades. At our facilities in the West Midlands, we hold a large stock of Titanium coils, bars, sheets, plates and tubes, providing a number of sectors with high quality materials for their manufacturing processes. Our materials are widely used in the demanding Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Medical, Motor Sport, and Aerospace industries, while other sectors are also realising the benefits of Titanium Alloy. Indeed, we now supply Titanium to a whole host of industries, including agriculture and farming, construction, and manufacturing.
To ensure quality, Ti-Tek sources all of its material from approved mills with full traceability. We are also ISO 9001 certified, meaning our products are subject to rigorous quality control. AS9120 Aerospace certification is also soon to be attained. Our convenient location near the M6 allows access to a UK-wide distribution network: Titanium can be delivered to you quickly and cost-effectively.
So why are some of the most demanding industries using Titanium? There are a number of good reasons. Firstly, low molecular density means Titanium alloys offer superior strength-to-weight ratios when compared with other metals. Pure titanium is corrosion resistant, has very good oxidation capabilities, and also has a very high melting point, making it perfect for heat transfer applications.
If you could do with a material that benefits from all of these properties, give Ti-Tek a call. We've got coils, bars, tubes, sheets and plates in a multitude of grades and sizes. Below is just a small selection of what we have to offer. More materials and information can be found by visiting the Ti-Tek website directly, or of course by giving us a call. Our specialists are on hand to help you find the right grade for your application.
Ti-Tek supplies Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 5 (Ti 6AL/4V) Titanium sheets and plates. Grade 1 ASTM B 265 + F67 titanium comes in thicknesses from 0.5mm to 3.0mm, with respective weights of between 2.26kg per sq metre and 13.53kg per sq metre. Grade 2 ASTM B 265 + F67 titanium comes in thicknesses of 2.0mm, right up to 60.00mm. This weighs between 9.02kg per sq metre at 2.0mm thick, and 270.6 kg per sq metre at 60.0mm thick.

In addition to a wide range of plates, sheets, bars, and tubes, Ti-Tek provides a number of other titanium products. They include welding wire in thicknesses of 1.6mm, 2.0mm, 2.4mm and 3.0mm, jig section bars measuring between 6.3 x 6.3mm and 25.4 x 25.4mm, Grade 3 titanium wire in 2 metre lengths and various thicknesses, between 1.5mm and 5.0mm, and a number of Grade 2 titanium Fasteners/Washers.

To help you decide which Grade of Titanium is best suited for your needs, here's a little information on each. Grades 1-4 are pure titanium, while the rest are all alloys of some kind.
Pure titanium is desired for its high resistance to corrosion – alloys are valued for their high strength-to-weight ratio.
Grade 1 titanium is relatively low strength and high ducility; it's often used for plate heat exchangers.
Grade 2 is the most common pure grade, since it offers the best combination of strength, ducility and weldability - It's ideal for piping systems.
Grade 3 is high in strength, and used for matrix plates in shell and tube heat exchangers.
Grade 5 titanium alloy is the most commonly used of its kind. It is exceptionally strong and highly heat resistant, making it perfect for the aerospace and subsea industries.
Grade 7 offers outstanding corrosion resistance in reducing and oxiding environments – it's therefore quite commonplace in the chemical industry.
Grade 9 titanium alloy combines excellent strength with great corrosion resistance – it is commonly used in hydraulic pumping or subsea applications.
Grade 11 is also used in the chemical industry, but is more suitable for deep drawing.
Lastly, we have Grade 12 titanium. This offers an even greater heat resistance than pure titanium. It is used in the chemical industry, as well as for shell and tube heat exchangers.
Our materials are delivered in accordance with the ASTM Standard (American Society for Testing and Materials). This covers the mechanical, chemical, and metallurgical requirements of the four grades of pure titanium used for the manufacture of surgical implants. ASTM standards are accepted and used in R&D, product testing, quality systems and commercial transactions throughout the globe.
