Established in 1996 and based in Glasgow, Doorworld supplies a wide variety of doors and door furniture. We believe that doors are an important investment as they add value to the house as well as changing the overall appearance. We have recognised a gap in the market for non-standard sized doors and this is why many of our doors are available in different sizes. We also realised that treatment of the door could sometimes be a hassle for many of our customers and because of this we began to sell our internal UVPC doors that will never need painting. Our traditional large pine internal doors are perfect for those who live within a Victorian or Edwardian tenement house. Even if you dont live in this type of property but have high ceilings and larger doorways, these doors may be for you. The doors are made from Brazillian pine and are available in a fixed height of 2130mm with a range of different widths available.
Our UPVC internal doors are made to measure and can be completely customised to exactly what you require within your home. All of our UPVC doors are 35mm thick and can be made to the maximum dimensions of 2070mm x 864mm. Customers can enjoy a range of different benefits by choosing our UVPC doors including the fact that they are maintenance free and UV stable. The doors are also wipe clean, stain resistant and come with a grain texture finish.
We can design and manufacture completely bespoke doors with your personal specifications in mind. As well as the glazing design, customers can choose between two different door sizes which are 35mm or 40mm. We can also offer a choice of materials which can be used for the bevels, these include brass and silver lead. Fire doors are often required in specific types of houses such as those of multiple occupancy, new builds and loft conversions. We have a wide range of internal fire doors which are available in oak and white moulded. The doors also come in a varied selection of designs with some models being glazed and some not. Door handles can make a huge difference to the overall look and feel of a door and this is why we stock a multitude of handles in different shapes and materials. Our handles include straight and curved shapes and can be made from materials such as chrome and brass. We are also going to be adding external door furniture to our online shop shortly, these will include letterboxes and mortice locks.
