Our glass stock includes 2mm to 12mm float glass and 2mm to 6mm mirrored glass. All of our glass can be cut to specific sizes and shapes using our cutting edge computerised cutting benches. We have also recently invested in a state of the art Mappi Toughening Plant. This fantastic system enables us to produce vast amounts of toughened safety glass on site in fast turn around times. In fact, we now produce 95% of our toughened safety glass on site. This new department has proven extremely successful and is an essential addition to our range.
Our double glazed units are manufactured to British and European Standards and can feature various added decorative designs, including leaded and Georgian, upon request. Secondary double glazing is an effective solution for reducing noise, reducing heat loss, reducing condensation and eliminating draughts. Our high quality secondary double glazing units fit on the inside of the existing window and are available as hinged or fixed units, horizontal sliding, vertical sliding or lift-out units. Secondary double glazing is more often than not a cost effective alternative to the complete replacement of windows.
