Rigid Lorries

Spectrum’s haulage fleet includes a number of rigid crane lorries, including:

• 32T, 8-Wheel Rigid Fly Jib Crane Trucks – ideal for long reach lifting (up to 25.90 metres). 
• 44T, 6-Wheel Hiab Crane Lorries with Drawbar Trailers – lorries can be used with or without the drawbar trailer. 
• 26T Hiab Trucks with Cranes – crane can be front or rear mounted. Front mounted cranes give greater load flexibility, while rear mounted cranes give better lifting capacity. 
• 18T, 4-Wheel Crane Lorry loaders – cranes are rear mounted and useful in tight situations.

Articulated Lorries

Spectrum also has a range of articulated crane lorries in its haulage fleet. They include:

• 44T Crane Lorry with Rear Mounted, 9T Hiab Crane Lift – features a 10.6 metre bed. 
• 44T Crane Lorry with Rear Mounted, 9T Lorry Crane Lift and 27m Rear Steel Trailer – ideal for lifting long and heavy items such as rails, switches, crossings, monopoles, cabins and large machinery
• 44T Crane Truck with 6T Hiab Crane Lifting Facility - features a 6-extension, 47t/m Hiab crane. 
• 44T Crane Truck with Articulated Hiab Lorry Crane – with lifting capacities from 31t/m to 45t/m and standard carrying capacity of 20 tonnes. 
• 44T Articulated Crane Truck with Fly Jib Crane – suitable for long reach crane lifting up to 23 metres. 

Trailers

We operate a wide and varied fleet of trailers ranging from 20ft drawbar units through to specialist 24ft and 30ft flatbeds for tight access situations. We also use standard 40ft trailers and both double and treble extendables.

• 20ft Drawbar Trailers with Crane Truck and Hiab – ideal for situations where a rigid truck is essential but a larger volume or weight of goods require moving. 
• Short Articulated Trailers for Tight Access Sites – Spectrum has a range of 24ft and 30ft trailers designed to be pulled by a truck with crane. 
• 40ft Trailers with Lorry Cranes – ideal for general cargo lifting applications. 
• Extendable 12-20m Trailers – designed to be pulled by our fleet of Hiab lorry cranes.
• Rear Steer Treble Extendable Trailers (up to 34.8 metres) – designed to be used with any of our Hiab hire fleet of lorry cranes.

Rail Lorries

Spectrum are specialist hauliers to the rail industry. We are full members of Link Up and all of our drivers are PTS trained to work trackside. Using a fleet of specialist crane loading vehicles, we are able to deliver the full range of rail goods/materials, from control panels and concrete trunking to track laying machines, overhead cable machines and 27m crossings and track. Lorry Mounted Forklifts

Spectrum Freight also possesses several 40ft flatbed trailers fitted with Manitou telescopic forklifts. These have a maximum lift capacity of 1.5 tonnes.
