Health and Safety Consultancy

Health and safety rules, regulations and legislation can place time constraints and additional duties onto employers. Our health and safety consultancy is designed to make health and safety duties a more manageable task for business owners. We will identify and assess your requirements in line with HSE and CQG guidance, and then work with you to provide services and products that meet your business and regulatory compliance needs. Health and Safety Consultancy Services

We provide an extensive range of health and safety consultancy services. We can tailor our services to meet you requirements and business needs. Our consultancy services include accident and incident investigation and preparing reports for third parties, assistance with Care Standards Act and Care Homes Regulations compliance, and behavioural safety and safety culture development. We also supply CDM compliance (including acting as the CDM co-ordinator), contractor management, corporate assurance and due diligence, employee consultation as well as development and review health and safety management systems. We can provide fire risk assessment, fire safety policy and procedures, health and safety inspections, risk management and workplace environment and personal monitoring.

About Us - Susan Sinclair

Susan Sinclair qualified in Hospitality Management at the Otago Institute of Technology and worked for over 10 years in the hotel and catering sectors in New Zealand and in the UK before completing a LLB (Hons.) degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Susan completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Health and Safety Practice and now has over 10 years’ experience in advising Hospitality and Community Care sector organisations on a wide range of health and safety issues.

In 2004, Susan took over the running of Sinclair Associates when it became a Limited Liability Partnership. Susan recently completed the NEBOSH National General Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice and regularly provides a range of training courses to care and hospitality sector managers and staff.

About Us - David Sinclair

David Sinclair is a dual-qualified chartered health and safety practitioner and solicitor. David has over 20 years of experience of health, safety and environmental management practice in the construction, health and social care, telecommunications and engineering sectors. David has advised companies, NHS trusts, charities and social enterprises, as well as individual directors, trustees and managers on a range of health and safety issues.

David's work experience includes advising clients on corporate and individual manslaughter as well as most aspects of contentious and non-contentious health and safety law. David also advises clients on commercial contracts, disputes and on NHS and corporate governance issues involving health and safety as well as lecturing in health, safety, environmental law and a range of health and safety courses.
