Risk Assessment

The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations (1999) state that all employers must ensure that regular risk assessments are carried out on their premises by a competent person. Portable Appliance Testing

The Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) and The Workplace (Health & Safety and Welfare) Regulations (1992) state that all electrical appliances within the workplace should be correctly maintained to ensure that they are safe to use and pose no danger to employees. To help you comply with these regulations, we offer:

• Testing to IEE Code of Practice (4th Edition) by City & Guilds 2377 qualified personnel
• Risk based assessment of results, reducing the amount of testing and hence costs
• Free replacement fuses and BS1363 plugs
• Microwave leakage and power function testing

Electrical Condition Reports

We can also carry out assessments and provide reports on the general condition of your electrical installations. Electrical Condition reports (formerly known as Periodic Examination) are undertaken by City & Guilds qualified engineers and are carried out in full compliance with BD 7671:2008 and the IET Guidance Note 3.

Health & Safety Training

The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations (1999) state that “every employer shall ensure that his employees are provided with adequate health and safety training.” Qualitek can help you comply with these regulations by providing business and charity-specific training courses designed with your own learning objectives and outcomes in mind.
