We are an established oil and gas engineering and service business, admitted to trade on the London Stock Exchange AIM Market in December 2005. Based in Aberdeen we are a dominant figure in the North Sea while also securing contracts internationally with our POS-GRIP® Wellhead System, which has been used on more than 300 wells worldwide.

Our patented POS-GRIP technology was invented, developed and commercialised by Plexus’ founder and CEO, Ben van Bilderbeek, an accomplished engineer, with over 35 years industry experience. Ben is also a successful entrepreneur and received the prestigious accolade of Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 at Grant Thornton’s Quoted Company Awards.

Our unique product is safer, more reliable and cost-effective, and technically superior to our competitors’ and it is thanks to the success of this technology and future prospects in the subsea sector that Plexus continues to grow in both size and reputation. Winning the Best Oil and Gas Plc at the Annual Stock Market Wire Awards 2013 provided further evidence that our reputation as a supplier of the best-in-class wellhead equipment is gaining momentum.    

Moving forward we plan to continue our expansion into the exploration wellhead market, with the aim of growing our global business. We will do this alongside continuing to develop both existing and new products for the subsea market, including the advanced testing of a POS-GRIP high pressure/high temperature (HP/HT) tie-back connector. With the launch of our Joint Industry Project (JIP), in collaboration with a number of key oil and gas operators, we will continue to be deeply involved in the development and commercialisation of a new, safer, subsea wellhead that uses Plexus’ pioneering POS-GRIP technology.

Our goal is to develop POS-GRIP technology as the industry standard for wellhead design.
