About The Paper Industry Technical Association The Paper Industry Technical Association (PITA) is an independent, professionally managed organisation and produces the journal Paper Technology. It provides a forum for the exchange of information and technology to the benefit of its members in the pulp, paper, converting and allied trades. Whilst under the management of a dedicated professional team, the Association''s activities are directed by volunteers from all areas of the industry. Technical information is disseminated through district meetings, working groups, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, web site and the Association''s regular publications. PITA operates for the general benefit of its individual and corporate members and the general public at large. It''s single most important objective is to promote communication and therefore knowledge and technology, between members.
