Opticus supplies fibre optic and telecom test equipment and training. Our fibre optic products include essential fibre equipment like OTDRs, fusion splicers and cleavers, power meters and loss test sets. In addition we offer more advanced testers for Dispersion testing, Remote Fibre test systems (RFTS) and Optical Spectrum Analysers. We also supply training in all aspects of fibre installation – splicing, testing and termination.

Our Telecom test equipment includes Telecom / Datacoms products for Gigabit Ethernet testing, IP test, MPLS test and VPN testing, SONET SDH PDH testing and equipment for ATM, ISDN and Frame Relay testing.

We also supply Anritsu RF test sets products for W-CDMA, W-LAN, and WiMax tests. We have a range of Spectrum Analyzers including Site Master and Spectrum Master, Base Station Analyzers, RF Power Meters, cable and antenna analyzers, UMTS testers, Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Scalar Network Analyzers and Signal Generators.

The Mantarobot telepresence robot gives users the ability to engage in classes, meetings, factory tours or to visit galleries, museums or sporting events from a remote location. Using a laptop to make a Skype call the user takes full control of the Mantarobot and can then move  around the room or building and engage with people or observe events and details.
