Nutek Europe is a division of Nutek Board Handling &
Traceability Equipment who are a world leader in Board Handling and
Traceability Systems to the Electronic Manufacturing Industry. Whether PCB,
Ceramic or Plastics, Nutek have a solution. We offer a range of products - from
on-line workstations, linking conveyors, line loaders, buffers and unloaders to
on-line PCB Laser Marking Cells and pick and place Barcode Labelling Cells. In
addition to our comprehensive range of standard products, Nutek also provide
Bespoke Solutions to help you overcome non-standard problems associated with your
products or installation environment.
Nutek Europe have their own dedicated customer services team
and we have standard 12-hours response time. Should you require any spare
parts, Nutek Europe holds a huge range in stock, all of which are available for
expedited delivery.
This system has a large marking area and has been especially designed to mark PCB’s accurately within the production line as well as being able to be used as a standalone cell. The PCB is locked into its marking position and then the servo controlled X-Y axis moves the CO2 laser creating a flying laser concept. Windows™ based software can be used to programme both the markings and their positions. There is also the choice to use an integrated inverter that provides double sided marking. The Series 3 also comes with a CCD camera for a readability check.
Nutek’s Series 5 laser marking system uses a 3-axis galvo-head in order to provide a marking area of 350 x 3350mm and negates the need to use the X-Y gantry. This allows the machine to produce a large number of markings within a fast cycle time. The system can be used to mark text, barcodes 2D codes and graphics. The Series 5 is easily programmed using Windows™ based software and can either be used as a standalone cell or as part of a production line to accurately mark PCB’s. For double sided marking there is the option to use an integrated inverter.
The MODI company's ‘Adomo’ (Advanced Optical Modulation) system has been included into Nutek’s Scan Station and it uses the stepper controlled mirror heads within Adodmo to examine large areas using high resolution and rapid cycle times. The Adomo camera system has a field of view that is accurate to 1 µm and glances from different positions in a matter of milliseconds. The integral microprocessor controls both the accurate mirror movements and the camera synchronisation an there is the ability to use cameras with 0.5-4 Megapixels resolutions for certain applications.
Nuteks’ Dual Magazine Unloader is controlled by Omron PLC and can be custom made to fit the magazine you need. The PCB’s are picked up from the upstream machine and taken onto a shuttle conveyor which then pushes the PCB’s into the chosen magazine. The shuttle conveyor will move sideways between the upstream machine and the magazines. It is also possible to select the pitch settings on the machine and to regulate the pressure on the integrated pusher.
This is an ideal tool for when it is necessary to regularly inspect PCB’s. The standard segment length is 500mm but there is a multi zone concept available. The width of the conveyor can easily be adjusted using the hand crank and there is the option to select either inspection or by pass mode. The PCB will stop in the centre and the whole conveyor is controlled by PLC.
Controlled by PLC, this useful PCB rotator will rotate the PCB 90°and then transfer it downstream to the modular placement machine. The PCB length and width can be set using the position indicators and the conveyor will automatically open whilst the PCB is lifted up to the set length. After the PCB has been rotated it will be transferred out sideways, however the operation can be reversed in order to transfer it our lengthways instead.
The multi magazine buffer from Nutek features an automatic change over system and has 5 modes of operation built in. It can be used as either a mid-line loader or unloader and is suitable as a high capacity LIFO and FIFO buffer or alternatively as a reject buffer. The pusher conveyor is dual function and there is pressure limitation on the pneumatic pusher. Once the PCB’s are in the upstream oven, a threshold signal is activated to protect them.
The DT Manual Gate from Nutek has a conveyor that can be adjusted width ways using a hand crank. The Gate also features a locking device to ensure that is cannot be opened during PCB transfer. The conveyor section can be lifted in order to access the rear of the dual track line. Both opening and closing is supported by ergonomic air pressure. The Gate has two ESD belt segments of 1000mm that are independently controlled.
