Calciject 40CM Solution for Injection

Calciject 40 CM Solution contains 400mg calcium borogluconate and 50mg magnesium hypophosphite hexahydrate per ml and is used for the treatment of hypocalcaemia in cattle when the increased blood magnesium levels are also required. It is administered by subcutaneous or slow intravenous injection (200-400ml for cattle). It should be given slowly to avoid possible neuromuscular dysfunction and cardiac insufficiency. There is no withdrawal period when using this product with cattle.

Opti-Mag 3

Opti-Mag 3 magnesium boli are supplied in specially moulded metal cylinders that contain 100g of magnesium and are weighted with iron shot. They are used for the treatment of cattle for the maintenance of magnesium intake during high risk periods linked with grazing of rapid growing grass. We recommend two Opti-Mag 3 boli to be given to each animal two/three days before the period of risk and repeated, if necessary, no later than four weeks after the first treatment. Opti-Mag 3 is administered using the bolus gun which is placed onto the tongue and released.

Gel-Lyte Plus

Gel-Lyte Plus is a complimentary dietetic feed featuring glucose, sodium citrate, sodium propionate, sodium acetate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride and L-glutamine. It is used for calves during recovery of digestive disturbance such as diarrhoea. Gel-Lyte Plus is administered orally and must be shaken before use. It should be prepared freshly before each administration and fed twice daily for two days or more to maintain electrolyte levels. Gel-Lyte Plus is a practical solution that can be diluted in milk or water and can be used without interrupting milk feed.

Closamectin Pour On

Closamectin Pour On is our revolutionary new pour on solution for the treatment of mixed trematode (liver fluke) and nematode or anthropod infestations due to roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, warbles, mites and lice in cattle. It is a clear, blue/green solution containing Ivermectin (5mg/ml) and Closantel (200mg/ml). Closamectin Pour On should be administered along the midline of the back in a narrow strip between the withers and the tail head. Bodyweight should be carefully assessed to determine dosage before administration.

Closamectin Injection for Sheep

Our Closamectin solution features 5mg/ml Ivermectin, Closantel (as closantel sodium dihydrate) 125mg/ml and sodium formaldehyde sulpphoxylate (as antioxidant) 5mg/ml. It is used to treat mixed trematode (fluke) and nematode or anthropod infestations due to gastrointestinal roundworms, trematodes, lungworms, nasal bots and mites in sheep. Closamectin is administered as an injection subcutaneously into the neck ideally using a 16-gauge one-inch needle. There is a meat and offal withdrawal period of 28 after using this product.

Loxicom Oral Suspension for Cats

Loxicom 0.5mg/ml oral suspension for cats is used to alleviate inflammation and pain in chronic musculoskeletal disorders in cats. It is a pale yellow suspension containing meloxicam 0.5mg/ml and sodium benzoate 1.5mg/ml. It is administered mixed with food or placed directly into the mouth and particular care must be taken regarding the accuracy of the dosing. Loxicom Oral Suspension should not be used with pregnant or lactating cats or cats less than six weeks of age. Please read all warnings before treatment.

Propentofylline Tablets for Dogs

Propentofylline tablets are used to treat dogs with dullness, lethargy and overall demeanour usually in older dogs. The tablets are light blue, oblong, film-coated and can be divided into equal halves. Each tablet contains the active substance propentofylline and the excipient opadry II blue 85G30552. Propentofylline tablets is administered onto the back of the dog’s tongue or can be mixed with a small amount of food and given 30 minutes before feeding. It should not be given to pregnant bitches or breeding animals.

Noroclav Palatable Tablets for Dogs

Noroclav Palatable tablets are used for the treatment of infections such as skin infections, urinary tract infections, respiratory infections and enteritis caused by susceptible Escherichia coli. The tablets contain Amoxicillin as Amoxicillin Trihydrate 400mg and Clavulanic Acid as Potassium Clavulanate 100mg. The Clavulanate acid is used to inactivate enzymes that may destroy the amoxicillin antibiotic so that the organisms are susceptible to the treatment. Pestigon Spot-On Solution for Dogs

Pestigon Spot-On Solution for dogs is a solution used for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and ticks in dogs and cats.  Pestigon has a persistent acaricidal efficacy against the tick Dermacentor reticulatus for up to 4 weeks in dogs. It also has an insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas for up to 8 weeks in dogs. Pestigon Spot-On Solution for dogs can be used as a part treatment strategy for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) in dogs where this has been diagnosed by a vet. Ticks may be killed by this solution within one week if they were present when the product is applied.

Eprizero® 5mg/ml Pour-On Solution for Beef and Dairy Cattle

Eprizero® 5mg/ml Pour-On Solution for beef and dairy cattle is a clear to light yellow pour on solution for the treatment and prevention of Gastrointestinal Roundworms, Lungworms, Warbles, Lice, Horn Flies and Mange Mites. Each ml of the Eprizero® 5mg/ml Pour-On Solution contains 5mg of the active substance Eprinomectin. This product is only for use on beef and dairy cattle including lactating cattle and should not be used on any other animals. The product should be applied topically by pouring along the backline in a narrow strip extending from the withers to the tail head. Use the solution as part of a program to control both internal and external parasites to achieve the best results.

Loxicom® 50 mg/g Oral Paste for Horses

Loxicom® 50 mg/g Oral Paste for horses is a pale yellow homogenous oral paste used to alleviate inflammation and pain relief of both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders. The paste should be administered directly into the mouth over the back of the tongue with the horse’s head raised until the paste is swallowed. One syringe division of paste per 50kg of body weight only. The Loxicom® Oral Paste for horses should not be used on pregnant or lactating mares or horses suffering from gastrointestinal disorders; it should also not be used on horses less than six weeks old.

Cleanor Ear Cleaner

Cleanor Ear Cleaner for cats and dogs is a relatively new addition from Norbrook Laboratories. Cleaner Ear Cleaner has been specifically designed to help remove ear wax from the ear canals with regular cleaning. The Cleaner Ear Cleaner is also a gentle moisturiser and cleansing product that protects the delicate lining of the ear canal. This product can also be used as an aide before examining the animal’s ear canal and is suitable for sensitive ears. Cleanor Ear Cleaner should only be used externally and is not suitable for use on dogs or cats with a suspected ruptured ear drum.
