New Century Machinery also have an experienced staff of service engineers on hand to attend machinery breakdowns, usually within 24 hours. Our engineers cover the CNC, mechanical and electrical sectors and carry a fantastic range of tools and the most commonly required spare parts on call outs. Our engineers are also able to take on relocation projects and can assist with the dismantling, re-erection and commissioning of machinery. Our extensive range of high quality new machinery has been manufactured by Durma which has been available on the UK market since 2000.

Durma FBS (Flexible Bending Solutions)

Durma Flexible Bending Solutions (FBS) are used to bend large sheet metal with the minimum of handling throughout the entire bending process in order to avoid extensive and high cost welding operations which can also affect the stability of the material. FBS allows for a much greater flexibility of bending which in turn allows the procedure to be used for a much wider range of applications and industries. Time can further be saved with FBS with the loading and unloading processes being automated. New Century Machinery are able to provide support and FBS - more information can be found on our website.

3 Axis Synchro Pressbrakes

Our Synchro Hydraulic Pressbrake from Durma's R Series features impressive handling capabilities, especially with large sheets, thanks to the material handling total ram control. This allows for much slower pressing and slower return speeds to be programmed in by the operator which almost completely removes the risk of sheet 'whip up' and allows for much easier sheet handling by the operator. This product is also able to produce parts of a much higher quality due to the lack of 'dishing or bowling' in the bend area. More information and full technical specifications can be found on our website.

Multi-Axis CNC Pressbrakes

Available with eleven different axis configurations, the Durma AD-S Series CNC Synchro Pressbrake has been specifically designed to decrease setup times due to its ability to automatically calculate the various parameters including the bend angle, bend sequence, bend allowance, and back gauge retraction. The AD-S also comes with collision protection and a ram positioning system which allows the user to monitor and control ram speeds, pause times and positions in real time. Extremely slow pressing speeds can be set in order to eliminate the risk of whip up or part dishing occurring thus allowing the production of high quality parts.

Mechanical Guillotines

Specifically designed to process sheet metal and plastics, the Durma MS Series Mechanical Guillotine is ideal for shearing light gauge metals via the two high carbon and high chrome blades. This mechanical power guillotine features a directive drive which offers cost effective and efficient processing. Others features include telescopic extension arms, low voltage controls and a remote foot control which comes with its own emergency stop button. The MS Series guillotine has been manufactured with a durable and simple design to provide a rigid and torsion free structure with a low noise drive. All the moving parts also come in maintenance free bearings.

Variable Rake Guillotines

The Durma VS Series is a guillotine with the ability to vary the rake via an electronic control which adds a much wider choice of parameters to be set thus creating greater variation of the angle, rigidity, blade clearance and cut quality. The ability to change the rake angle also creates an improved cutting performance without the risk of strip deformation. The VS also features a deep throat which means that sheet plates can be longer than the blade length and a retractable backgauge allowing cut-off pieces to fall away without becoming jammed between the blade and the backgauge.

Swing Beam Guillotines

With the Durma SBT Series Swing Beam Guillotine, the rake has the ability to be held at a low enough angle to produce the optimal cut quality. Spherical roller bearings allow the top blade to pivot with minimal clearance which, when combined with the rigid box beam and table construction, allow the blade to maintain a constant and even height over the whole of the cut length resulting in outstanding quality. The SBT has a wealth of standard features such as an easy-to-use CNC Touchscreen control unit, a squaring arm complete with scale, T-Slot and Tilting stop, and an illumination and shadow line among many others.

Laser Cutting Machines

The Durma HD Series Laser Cutting Machine is able to cut raw sheets with a laser head that moves in both the X and Y directions. The gantry and frame have been welded before being stress relieved which prevents any deviations from occurring. The axis on the HD are moved by either an AC servo motor or a high Dynamics Linear motor motion system both of which are high performance and free from maintenance. The HD is also of a compact construction and has the ability to cut a variety of different materials and thicknesses without requiring further tooling. Full specifications as well as a demonstration video can be found on our website.

Hybrid System Laser Cutting Machines

Hybrid laser cutting machines from Durma's HD-M series are highly accurate, flexible and efficient thanks to the 'hybrid' action which means that the table moves along the X axis whilst the cutting head moves along the Y axis. The movement happens along the highly precise ground ballscrews that feature direct drive technology removing the belt and the transmission from between the ballscrews and the motors and consequently eliminating the risk of backlash. Capable of producing a high output, HD-M machines are also easy to use, cost effective and require less maintenance. Along with the extensive list of standard features, HD-M machines are also available with a wide range of optional extras.

Plasma Cutting Machines

Durma PL Series Plasma Cutting Machines are manufactured with components of only the highest quality including motion control systems by Siemens and a supply source from Hypertherm. This commitment to fantastic quality has resulted in high performance machines that are able to produce outstanding cut angles and edge quality whilst operating quickly and precisely. PL series machines are also easy to setup and program, are reliable with a long length of life whilst also operating cleanly and with great energy efficiency. These machines are also available in a compact version. More details and a demonstration video can be found on our website.

Turret Punch Press Machines

Capable of operating at high speed and with low machining costs, the advanced turret punch press from Durma's TP Series is a cost effective and reliable option. Punching at 900 strokes per minute and marking at 1800 strokes per minute, the TP is also able to produce a variable dwell time when at the bottom of a stroke which provides pressbrake style forming of a very high quality. This feature also often removes the need to carry out any secondary processing. Adjustments can be made electronically whilst roller technology allows the machine to operate on curved or rounded areas as well as straight.

Fixed and Rotation Punching Machines

The Durma FP/RP Series is made up of both Fixed and Rotation punching machines including the FP6 Multi-Tool Fix Punch Press. The FP6 features six tools and a capacity of 30 tons wrapped up inside the durable welded steel construction. Welding cracks are avoided thanks to the large radii included at the stress points and the full stress relief carried out during and after welding. The X and Y axis are driven by a servo motor and all the electrical circuit components have been manufactured by Merlin Gerin, Telemacanique and Siemens whilst all the hydraulic system components have been produced by Bosch and Rexroth.

Plate Roll Bending Machines

Our range of plate roll bending machines come from Durma's HRB and MRB Series including the HRB 4, HRB 3, MRB and MRB-S. The Durma MRB-S is able to produce conical bending via the motorised back rolls. Controlled via a pendant panel, both the top and bottom rolls of the MRB-S have a gearbox and a gear drive whilst the rolls themselves have been hardened. Manufactured from steel, the frame of the MRB-S has been stress relieved for peace of mind. A support system is also included in order to provide an increased bending quality even at 2.5m and 3m machines.

Profile Bending Machines

The PBH Series of Hydraulic Profile Bending Machines by Durma is made up of the PBH 180, 240, 300, 360, 125, 100 and 60-80 models. The PBH 125 is available with one set of hardened and ground rolls as standard with all rolls having their own planetary gear box whilst being hydramotor driven. The command panel can be moved independently from the PBH 125 for ease of use and a horizontal working feature is also included. Full technical specifications on the PBH 125 bending machine as well as all the other available models can be found on our website.

Corner Notchers

The FN/VN Series of corner notchers by Durma have been specially designed to cut materials within a 0.4mm to 6mm range of thicknesses when using mild steel or up to 4mm when using stainless steel. Notchers from this series feature an adjustable cutting angle of 30 to 140 degrees which can be set by using the two simple hand wheels. Burr free cuts are produced thanks to the high quality of steel used to manufacture both the upper and lower blade positions. A comprehensive range of technical specifications for both the FN Series and VN Series can be found on our website.

Iron Workers

The Durma IW/P Series of iron workers is made up of seven different IW models and three P models. The P Series offers cost effective punching for all thicknesses whilst the IW Series provides a combined metal working option suitable for a wide range of different processes. P Series iron workers come with quick change punch and die holders as well as punches and dies of different dimensions as standard.
