Crystal units are passive components that use the piezoelectrical effect of the crystal to produce a frequency. When an electrical current is applied, the crystal creates a highly stable resonance frequency on an oscillation circuit. This can be used as an electrical signal in all sorts of electronic devices. Crystal units are widely used in mobile telecommunications, wireless communications and various automotive applications.
You can find more information on our crystal units (including technical specifications) on the NDK website.
If you require any help or advice in the identification of a suitable VCXO for your application, please do not hesitate to call. Our UK sales office can be reached on 020 8547 0500.
NDK’s Ultrasonic Probes are used to generate and detect acoustic signals in various testing and diagnostic applications. The performance and imaging quality depend on the characteristics and structure of the probe – by changing the piezoelectric material and acoustic lens, you can alter the strength of the signal.
The configuration of the probe depends on the application you have in mind. We have a series of standard probes for medical diagnosis, healthcare applications, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and many other industrial applications, but can also design bespoke probes for customer-specific applications.
Customers can decide on the probe specification (frequency, element pitch, element number, etc) and the probe’s outer shape. At NDK, we have a great deal of experience in the design and manufacture of customised transducers and have a proven track-record of success in this field.

Our 3GHz low phase noise CW Signal generators are used in research and development applications and for product inspection on communication device production lines. Measuring just 224 x 320.5 x 99mm and weighing in at only 3.5kg, they are amongst the most compact, lightweight CW signal generators of their kind. Full details and product specifications can be found on the NDK website.
Remember, if you have any questions regarding any of the systems listed in the sections above, please do not hesitate to call. We’re available on 020 8547 0500.
