Compression Springs

Compression Springs are amongst the most common types of spring used in industry, but there's nothing common about our springs. Over 80 years worth of manufacturing experience has gone into producing the finest compression springs available in the UK market.

Extension Springs

Morris Springs also stocks a comprehensive assortment of extension springs, all available off the shelf for immediate despatch. These are available in a wide range of metals, from stainless steel and carbon steel, to nickel and copper based alloys.

12" Close Coiled Lengths

12" Close Coiled Lengths allow you to cut off varied lengths of spring for your development projects. Again, these are all available from stock and can be despatched very quickly. Data sheets can be found by following the link directly to the Morris Springs website.

12" Open Coiled Lengths

Our 12" Open Coiled Lengths are also suitable for cutting into shorter lengths to suit the needs of your projects. These can be supplied extremely quickly thanks to our next day delivery service. Die Springs

Our Imperial Range of Die Springs cover over 30 different sizes, the details of which can be found in the Morris Springs Catalogue. We also supply Colour Coded Toolroom (Metric) Die Springs which are made from the very finest chrome vanadium spring steel.

All of our Die Springs have been designed to handle high loads with the greatest possible movement, without compromising safety. Shot peening processes have been used to improve the fatigue life of Die Springs in our Imperial range.

Like most of our products, Die Springs are all available off the shelf, meaning you can have them delivered as soon as possible. Wire Springs

Morris Springs offers an exceptional range of wire and square section springs, from 0.1mm to 100mm wire diameter. This includes compression, torsion, extension, valve, and die springs, as well as wire forms.

No matter how small or large the spring, we have the skills and facilities to cope with your demands. We'll use your specifications, sketches, drawings or CAD files to manufacture your tailor-made springs, but if you don't have the time to create drawings, we can design the spring ourselves. Pressings and Flat Springs

Morris Springs has unparalleled diversity in the range of products we can produce from flat materials. We have a power press capacity of up to 100 tonnes, while all machines use air feeds for enhanced accuracy and reliability.

Metric Compression Springs

As an experienced, forward-thinking spring manufacturer, Morris Springs is always looking for new ways to improve and expand its product range, meeting the ever-changing demands of modern industry. We have developed a brand new and comprehensive range of metric compression springs which can be usually delivered within seven days. A wide range of sizes are available, from 3.0mm to 30.0mm outside diameter. Metric Extension Springs

Also recently added to the Morris Springs product range are our great new Metric Extension Springs, available for delivery within seven days of receipt of your order. A comprehensive range of sizes are available, from 3.0mm to 24.0mm outside diameter.

Circlips / Plain Wire Rings

We have a huge range of circlips available from stock for rapid delivery. Sizes and specifications can be downloaded in a PDF document found on the Morris Springs website.

Tube Clips / Button Clips

Morris Springs supplies a broad selection of tube clips/button clips manufactured from BS1449 CS70, heat treated and chemically blacked. Strip width ranges from 0.250" to 0.375", while thickness ranges from 0.020" to 0.028". Full size charts can be found in the Morris Springs catalogue. Tube clips and button clips are available from stock for immediate delivery.

R Clips (Retaining Clips)

We supply a wide range of different sized R Clips, all of which are zinc plated as standard. Wire diameter ranges from 1.2mm to 6.0mm, while a number of lengths are available between 21.0mm and 170mm (all sizes are approximate). Like all of our products, further information can be found
