MJD Labelling Systems stock four items within the Brother P-touch Desktop series, which has been designed to cover a range of needs. The new PT2730 provides far more features than its low price suggests, including a barcode function, and comes with software for PC connectivity. The new compact PTD200VP, which comes complete with carry case, uses TZ tape to print in either large print or up to two lines of text. The PT2030’s QWERTY keyboard makes it straightforward to print up to two lines of text on TZ tape. The PT9400 features PC connectivity and a full size QWERTY keyboard. It prints to self-adhesive labels in a choice of colours. We are also able to provide repairs and servicing for the popular PT800 and PT9500.
Brother P-touch Handheld printers have been designed for printing on the move and their robust, portable nature makes them an indispensible labelling solution for professions such as plumbers, telecom engineers, electricians and gas fitters. Their sturdy design is suited to tough environments. We can supply the PT7100VP, PT2470, PT7500VP and the new PTE300VP. To complement our range of handheld devices we also now supply shrink tube labelling cartridges suitable for labelling wires and small cables.
The professional Brother PT-3600 label printer works effectively as either a standalone unit or connected to your PC or Mac, which adds greater functionality and enables you to print graphics as well as use all the fonts on your computer. The printer’s multi-function cutter allows you to print a string of labels consecutively and a 360dpi print resolution gives professional results. Labels for this printer come in a variety of colours and sizes and are extremely hard wearing providing outstanding electrical, chemical, UV and water resistance and can even stand up to high temperatures.
Representing outstanding value for money, the Brother PT-90 takes 9mm and 12mm non-laminated M tapes. Its affordability and simplicity make it the perfect label printing solution for labelling items around the home such as files, folders, food containers, plant labelling in the garden and even light office use. It has several different functions to add style to your labels, including frames, 8 font styles and a deco mode for added design options.
The label printers within the Brother QL range are simple to operate and give you labels at the touch of a button. There are three printers in the range; the QL700 is popular in offices and on industrial sites as it is perfect for printing shipping labels, CD/DVD labels and folder labels. It uses a USB connection to link directly to your PC and has the ability to print up to 56 labels per minute. The QL710 features wireless connectivity, whilst the QL720 offers the same features as the QL710 whilst also being network ready. All Brother QL printers come with a pack of standard address labels and the QL710 and QL720 also include a roll of continuous paper tape to get you started.

Dymo Industrial is a robust range of handheld label printers that are perfectly designed to stand up to tough industrial environments. We supply the entry-level Rhino 1000 which is simple to operate, yet extremely feature rich and offers 3 font sizes and comes with 1 x 12mm flexible nylon tape. The Rhino 5200 has the ability to print electrical and data symbols, barcodes, patch panels and wire/cable markers. This model is available on its own or as part of a kit. The Rhino 6000 is also available as a standalone item or as a kit, and is pre-programmed with 250 industry terms saving user time. It also features PC connectivity, six different barcodes and a memory store of 1000+ labels.
The Brady BMP™21 Portable Label Printer has been designed specifically for workers within voice/datacomms, electrical and industrial environments. It is user friendly with a large backlit display, lightweight, yet rugged, and allows for simple one-handed operation. The labels produced by the BMP™21 have a professional finish and have been designed to stand the test of time in harsh environments. The integrated cutter will cut your label and hold on to it until you are ready to use it. Other features include terminal block and patch panel functions, barcoding, automated serialisation and access to 80 symbols.
With over 400 different label options, the BMP™71 offers immense flexibility for printing labels on a multitude of materials, including polyester, vinyl, self-laminating wire markers, raised panel labels and more than 25 others. Its functionality is complimented by speed with a print rate of 1.5” per second and can be used as a standalone printer with QWERTY style key layout, or connected to a PC for use with Brady LabelMark and MarkWare Express software.
With Kroy you are assured the quality of a long-established label printer manufacture with a global presence. The range of Kroy printers we stock includes the 5100, K4100, K3100, K4452/3, K4350 and K4652/53. The highly intelligent Brother LX200 laminator ensures professional results every time with its auto trim function that detects the size of a document and trims it to size. This is a feature rich device providing the user with a choice of finishes including double-sided laminate, adhesive backed laminate for signs and window stickers and magnetic laminate for fridge magnets. As a cool laminator it’s quick to use as it requires no time for heating and also allows the lamination of heat-sensitive items and as it uses a cartridge of laminate instead of pockets or pouches you can even use it to laminate banners up to 1m long.
