Cubby Caps Range

Our comprehensive range of scaffolding products includes a selection of Cubby Caps. These plastic caps are designed to fit over the end of scaffold tubes in order to provide additional safety in situations when items may have been placed inside the tubes. Cubby Caps are easy to install yet difficult to remove and are compatible with the current methods of handling and erection of scaffolding. Cubby Caps are available in three variations: general, flanged and the Sella cap. These provide a variety of options depending on your specific requirements. Our Cubby Caps are manufactured in high density polythene for good chemical resistance and stability.

Brickguard

Our selection of scaffolding products also includes The Brickguard, a durable and user-friendly guard manufactured in Polypropylene. The Brickguard conforms to TG20 recommendations with apertures of 48mm while the 830mm depth provides all the space required for easy fitting behind your toe board. The Brickguard is easily fixed into place with the use of cable ties which can then be removed so that the guard can be reused and stored away neatly. We can supply The Brickguard in a range of standard colours, including black, green, red, blue and yellow, but we are also able to create customised colours on request with our colour matching service.

BrickStick

The large range of building supplies at MCM Plastics includes the BrickStick. BrickSticks are plastic gauge rods that have been marked up with the standard brick and block dimensions. This simple yet effective tool helps you to ensure that you can achieve even and straight brick walls each and every time. The BrickStick is ideally suited to all bricklayers from DIYers to professionals. We can also provide BrickStick Datum Pegs which provide a fast and efficient method for setting datums both internally and externally in order to act as reference points. Manufactured in durable plastic, our BrickStick Datum Pegs come with 2 pre-drilled holes for fast fixing to all types of surface.

Packaging Products

MCM Plastics manufacture a wide range of packaging products including apexes, buckles, protective corners, reels and cores. Our buckles, made from co-polymer polypropylene, are available in three different sizes, 9mm, 12mm and 16mm, making them suitable for many different sizes of banding strap. We can supply both closed and expandable protective corners, all manufactured in co-polymer polypropylene. Our expandable corners can be provided in three different sizes in order to suit a wide range of door sizes. The large version which measures 85mm by 85mm by 35mm is able to expand to 55mm and is suitable for the majority of standard doors.

Pond Products

MCM Plastics also utilise our injection moulding expertise to manufacture a selection of products for use with koi carp ponds. Our selection includes general pond products, switch boxes and skimmers. We can supply both 3-way and 5-way switch boxes both of which use 10 amp fuses for the pond pump switch and 1.2 amp fuses for each of the remaining switches. Our skimmer is available in a standard version as well as a wide mouth version. Both are ideally suited for professional use with both liner and concrete ponds. We are also able to provide a range of skimmer spares including flaps, baskets, front plates, top caps, screws and gaskets.
