Laker-Vent Engineering Ltd specialises in industrial pipework fabrication and installation. With nearly 50 years of experience in the pipework industry, we are able to take on almost any challenge - no matter how basic or complex. Our success has been built on a commitment to an exceptionally high standard of pipework design, fabrication and installation.
All of our services are quality assured to ISO 9001:2008, while we also hold OHSAS 18001:2007 approval for health and safety procedures. Laker-Vent actively pursues the highest safety standards from all of its personnel and subcontractors. Laker-Vent Engineering offers a flexible approach to pipework design. We work with our clients at every step of the process, from the earliest design phase to the final installation, taking on board their requirements and responding with practical solutions along the way. Moreover, through the use our web-based tracking systems, our clients are able to monitor each individual pipework fabrication and installation remotely - this allows them to accurately assess progress at all stages of the project.
We employ an expert team of engineers with considerable experience across a broad spectrum of industries, including petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and brewing, aerospace and automotive. The Laker-Vent workforce has always been one of its most important assets - it is thanks to our dedicated employees that the company continues to win prestigious industry awards.
Today, Laker-Vent Engineering is one of the most respected companies in its field. But we do not intend to rest on our reputation. Indeed, we are committed to the ongoing improvement of all of our processes so that our customers receive an even better service. You can find out more about our services by visiting the Laker-Vent Engineering website, or you can simply get in touch and speak to one of our experts via telephone.
Laker-Vent Engineering has the experience and expertise to take on virtually any pipework project, including detail design and fabrication, pipework installation, mechanical plant installation, bespoke sheet metalwork and associated steelwork.
We make life easy by taking on every aspect of the project, completing all the required work in-house so that you can be assured of a high standard of workmanship. We’re confident in our ability to provide an uncomplicated service that makes no compromises in quality, safety or cost.
We work very closely with our clients to administer tight control over planning, timing, quality, safety and cost. Laker-Vent qualifies as a 'principal contractor' and 'designer' under CDM regulations and can take on all of your projects and routine maintenance in-house.
By giving us total project responsibility, you can consolidate your costs into one fixed overhead that covers all aspects of the contract. Moreover, you can have peace of mind in knowing that every stage of the project is audited by strict quality control procedures. The use of multiple contractors makes quality standards much more difficult to monitor. It is also more difficult to monitor safety procedures when you use more than one contractor.
With Laker-Vent, you can rest assured that safety standards are never compromised.
All of our processes are fully transparent with our remote web based tracking system, giving you more control over the planning and execution of the project.
All of the projects that we take on are completed at our 3.6 acre site in Cheshire. We have over 20,000 sq feet of workshop space divided into three sections for materials segregation. As well as bespoke pipework fabrication, our workshop services also cover the production of modularised pipework solutions such as pre-assembled piperacks, pre-assembled units, and specific skid units.
The use of modular pipework solutions holds many cost benefits for our customers.
Laker-Vent also has a dedicated hygienic workshop for the fabrication of pharmaceutical pipework - we are able to prefabricate clean piping systems for WFI, clean steam, purified water, clean air and gases. Our pharmaceutical pipework teams use enclosed-head, orbital welding equipment that meets ASME BPE requirements.
Laker-Vent carries out the design, fabrication, installation, radiography and testing of both low and high pressure pipework systems used for the power and gas industries. We are also able to install and integrate associated mechanical equipment such as boiler plant, CHP and Waste to Energy systems.
