Project Management

The KD Marine management team has a wealth of combined industry experience, all of which is put to good use in every diving and underwater construction project that we take on. We get involved right from the outset, guiding our clients through the minefield of diving regulations and procedures so that they have a clear idea of what is possible and what’s not. We also assist in dealing with any obstacles that may arise before operations can commence. Once the project begins in earnest, we do everything we can to ensure that it does not affect the daily running of your installations. We pride ourselves on our ability to get things done quickly, efficiently and with minimal disruption.

Surface Diving

Surface diving is a core activity for KD Marine – we specialise in the provision of underwater intervention solutions in hazardous environments. This can be undertaken either directly from a diving support vessel with a launch and recovery system, or if space is limited, from a specially built side platform.  KD Marine uses a number of multi-skilled surface divers selected from a pool of fully qualified diving personnel with whom we have worked for many years. All of them are trained in the use of our equipment and are fully briefed on our management systems. 

Subsea Intervention Daughter Craft

KD Marine has two daughter crafts which offer improved accessibility for diving or ROV intervention operations around offshore production facilities. Their smaller size and lower weight means they can be moored to an installation’s supporting structure without fear of damage, and also positioned under the installation in areas that would be inaccessible to other craft. Installation Based Diving

KD Marine can also perform diving operations directly from an installation, whether it’s a fixed platform, drilling rig or an FPSO. Whilst working on one particular FPSO based application, our engineers developed an Over Side Platform that allowed diving to be conducted all around the installation with minimal risk of impact.
