All of these systems are based on clamp on ultra-sonic sensor technology and are fully non-invasive. In order to meet the requirements of every possible flow application each ultrasonic flowmeter employs both the Transit-Time and Doppler ultrasonic measurement techniques in order to ensure a successful reading. The ultrasonic flow meters are able to be used on a variety of different liquid flow applications including, water, wastewater, power generation, pharmaceutical and petrochemical systems. Katronic supply various strap-on sensors and flowmeter configurations including portable, fixed installation and fully ATEX certified transmitters for hazardous area solutions and offshore environments. The ultrasonic transmitters and sensors are constructed of materials designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions.
