Jet Engineering started out in 1994 from a small unit with only three employees. In the first year, business took off better than could ever have been expected and it wasn’t long before the owners of Jet Engineering were developing their products, services, and business as a whole to meet the demands of the industry. Jet Engineering now operates from its premises in Glasgow where it proudly boasts a team of 23 highly trained and experienced individuals who work with state-of-the-art technology to provide fantastic results. Investments have included new milling and turning sections with four axis machining facilities, as well as CAD/CAM facilities and DNC capabilities for our CNC machinery. We are pleased to have the facilities and capabilities to meet both small and large batch requests and strive to meet all requests in fast turnaround times. Our services are widely used by leading national and international companies who return to us again and again for our high quality, reliable services. Our team follows strict quality control procedures to ensure that all products are manufactured and delivered to clients in tip top condition. We are registered with LRQA, BS EN ISO 9001:2008 standards to provide our customers with the highest quality products and services.

Our Product Range

We supply customers with a wide selection of products that are engineered from various plastics. Examples of our capabilities include: Delrin throttle valves and associated parts for pneumatic road diggers, Nylon, Acetal and Peek components within electronic coin counting machines, Cast Nylon parts for underground safety appliances, P.T.F.E. and Peek seals designed for various water tight applications, Cast Nylon and Polyethylene parts widely used for sub-sea applications, Acetal and P.E.T.P. parts for use with gas detection safety equipment, and more. Development

Here at Jet Engineering Plastics Ltd it is an essential part of the production process for our team to gain a firm understanding of customers’ requirements at the onset. We use our knowledge and expertise to work closely with clients at the early stages to create a sound vision of what is required. Machining

We use a range of high-tech machinery and equipment to produce high performance plastic components. We currently use various CNC lathes, mills and machining centres, as well as short run turning and milling machines and CAD/CAM facilities. Our highly skilled team is able to use this equipment to provide incredibly high quality, precision parts. Our excellent production line enables us to undertake various production processes quickly and efficiently under one roof thus minimising customer costs. Quality

Our team follows strict quality control procedures to ensure that all products are manufactured and delivered in perfect condition. All of our processed parts are inspected using high-tech equipment in our dedicated department. Procedures range from ‘First Off Inspection’ to ‘Operation Checks’,‘Sample Checks’, and ‘Final Inspection’. We are BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 accredited for the production of high quality parts.
