Products

J. T Adams Ltd specialises in the following areas:

• Compression Springs – These can be manufactured in a variety of steels and in diameters ranging from .25mm (.10”) to 6.0mm (.250”) using our automatic machines. Larger wire sizes are made by hand up to .562”. Full spring end grinding facilities are available. 
• Torsion Springs – These can be manufactured up to 2.64mm (.104”) using torsion coilers. 
• Springs & Wire-Shapes – Our CNC spring machinery allows us to produce springs from 0.50mm (0.020”) to 2.34mm (0.092”) in a variety of steels. 
• Pressings – We have a presswork capacity of up to 35 tonnes. 

Technology

Ongoing investment into the latest CNC machinery allows J. T Adams Ltd to produce large quantities of springs both quickly and cost-effectively. Two of the machines most often in operation are:

• The Nucoil FX-20 – Equipped with 6-axis CNC controls and capable of working within the wire range of 0.50-2.30mm (.020” – 0.92”).
• The HTC 28CF – A 4-axes spring coiling machine with four servo motors controlling feed, pitch, outside diameter and cut off. Allows for the high speed production of high quality springs.
