Educational Fume Cupboards

Our range of educational fume cupboards offers a choice of safe and practical solutions for ventilation within educational establishments, ensuring the extraction of harmful vapours and protection of individuals during scientific work.  We have two styles to chose from; our Academia unit, which is ducted and Centurion, which is ductless and is used in combination with our Centurion Docking Station.  Each unit has been designed to offer a robust solution with 6mm toughened glass and powder-coated frame work with many standard features and an array of optional items.  Please see our online leaflets for more information.

Alarms and Controls

Industrial Fume Cupboards

Integrated Laboratory Services offers a selection of fume cupboards that are suited for industrial applications with a range that includes both ducted and ductless models. The K8 Series is a comprehensive range of aerodynamic industrial fume cupboards that operate at a high performance level. Manufactured from zintec mild steel before being powder coated in matte white, the K8 Series has been designed and manufactured and will be installed to meet BS EN 14175 requirements. Cupboards from the K8 Range come in a range of configurations including bench mounted, walk-in and double fronted. All products in the range are manufactured to order in the UK.

Energy Saving Fume Cupboards

Integrated Laboratory Services can offer a VAV control system that helps to reduce laboratory heating costs in instances when fume cupboards are being constantly used. Able to be installed with a new system or retrofitted to your existing cupboard, the VAV system helps to reduce the levels of heated air that are being extracted through the cupboard's open sash. We can also install the Automatic Sash Closer (ASC) system that prevents the sash being left open even when the user walks away. This helps to significantly reduce the wastage of heated air and thus helps to lower energy costs. When both the VAV and ASC systems are installed together, the benefits are significant.

Down Draft Benches

Integrated Laboratory Services can supply down draft benches that fall into three main categories: Ductless Down Draft Benches, Ducted Down Draft Benches, and Specialist Benches. Our ductless benches are designed and manufactured to suit various industry applications and provide users with a safe and reliable solution for the extraction of fumes and dust in one. Ducted benches capture the fume at the source by using downdraught air-movement technology are manufactured from high quality 316 and 304 grade stainless for long term, reliable use. Our specialist benches are fabricated from polypropylene and feature fully welded sinks and troughs with ventilation slots around the perimeter of the sink.

Inspections & Servicing

In order to ensure your operation is fully compliant with the current COSHH regulations, it is imperative that all of your new and current fume cupboards, extractor systems and LEV equipment is inspected annually. Inspections on a regular basis also provide the added benefits of helping to maintain productivity of your systems, reducing the likelihood of a breakdown whilst ensuring the unit is operating at optimal performance. Integrated Laboratory Services can provide a range of different servicing schedules which we are more than happy to tailor to meet your specific requirements. We are also able to carry out SF6 containment testing services.
