Founded in 1983, Cheshire, Inglecliff are an engineering company specialising in precision rubber materials.

The company's knowledge of rubber processing builds on initial focus on washers, but has expanded to include all manner of rubber based products made from extruded mandrel built tube. Due to this considerable expansion, Inglecliff moved from its previous location to the larger Greenfield site in Lymm occupied today.

A vast array of engineering materials includes lathe cut rubber washers, rings and bushes, high quality mouldings including rubber to metal bonding and sheeting, and brass lined rubber bushes.

A variety of compunds are used during manufacturing, with some of the most common used including Nitrile, Neoprene, Ethylene Propylene Dienne Monomer (EPDM), Viton, Silicone, Natural,  Butyl,  Hypalon and Polyurethane.

Many of our parts require special approvals prior to production, including Food Qualities, Fire Retardant, Abrasion Resistant, Potable water, BS Specifications (e.g. BS1154,  BS2751,  BS2752), Conformance to UK DTD Specifications and Metal detectable.

Rubber Screen Balls

A wide range of rubber screen balls are manufactured for suitable use with vibratory sieves. Ball sizes offered vary from 7/16" up to 5" diameter. The conventional balls are crafted using solid rubber, although we have the facilities to manufacture balls with inserts placed within. The standard range of rubber balls available includes balls made from varying rubber based compounds, such as Polyisoprene, Silicone, Viton, Polyurethane, and Soft Para grades of natural rubber. Natural rubber properties include high resistance to wear and tear and good flexibility at low temperatures, ideal for use when requiring abrasion, impact and tear resistance. Silicone has a wide temperature range, making it suitable for a variety of environments, including food, pharmaceutical, and medical applications due to its cleanliness.

Gauge Glass Cones

We can mould a wide range of conical gauge glass cones in a range of sizes, bore, outside diameter and height. This is alternatively known as gauge glass rubbers. Standard grade of material used is Ethylene Propylene Dienne Monomer (EPDM) 70º Shore A. Through contacting our sales office, there is also access to several alternative materials should this be preferred.

Rubber Mouldings

We can manufacture precision moulded rubber parts utilising a wide variety of available rubber compounds. Whether producing mouldings based on computer-aided design drawings or from a sample, we can make a high quality match to suit your requirements. Moulded parts can be constructed using from our range of standard materials, including Natural, Nitrile, Neoprene, Ethylene Propylene Dienne Monomer (EPDM), Silicone and Viton. Further materials such as Aflas, Hydrogenated Nitrile, Butyl, Epichlorohydrin and Fluorosilicone are available on request but will require advanced warning due to longer production periods.

Brass Lined Rubber Bushes

Alongside manufacturing a range of rubber rings and washers, we also diversify into manufacture of many types of coupling bushes and brass lined bushes. Bushes can be manufactured from a variety of compounds, including Nitrile, Neoprene, Ethylene Propylene Dienne Monomer (EPDM), Viton, Silicone, Natural and Polyurethane. Brass tube is stocked from 1/2 internal (id) up to 1-5/8 internal (id), while we are not limited to solely brass lining, with mild steel, stainless steel, and even bronze lined rubber bushes produced upon request.
