• Foamglas T4 Foamglas® T4 as manufactured by Pittsburgh Corning is made exclusively of glass, there is no binder or other material in its composition. Foamglas® T4 is strictly non combustible and it does not absorb inflammable or dangerous liquids or gases. The product presents an excellent resistance towards water and is impervious to water vapour. Cellular Glass is utilised by the petrochemical industry and offshore exploration. Our products are available through the distribution network.
• Gentherm 650 Gentherm 650 provides all the benefits of traditional calcium silicate insulation but, most importantly, is cost engineered to be comparable with fibrous insulation products commonly found on today’s steam generation and transmission plants. Gentherm 650 is specially formulated to meet rigorous demands of modern steam pipelines essential to the operation of equipment heated or powered by high pressure, high temperature steam.
• Newtherm 800 Newtherm 800 is a tough highly efficient Calcium Silicate insulant manufactured by an energy efficient process involving mixing, moulding, pressing and finishing. Newtherm 800 far exceeds the performance requirements of BS 3958: Part 2: 1982: Calcium Silicate preformed insulation. Newtherm 800 complies with requirements of ASTM 533-95 with particular reference to strength and thermal property requirements. Newtherm 800 can meet the requirements of Navel Engineering standard NES 800 Part 1 1991. Approved by MOD, Powergen and National Power.
• Phenolic Insulation The high closed cell content of our Phenolic insulation gives a very high resistance to moisture penetration, with the option of aluminium foil. The thermal efficiency reduces the necessary thickness requirement, providing a low K value, saving energy and CO2 emissions. Our Phenolic range benefits from low flame spread, low smoke emission and gives off virtually no toxic fumes.
• PIR PIR 35kg is manufactured from a mixture of two principal liquid components and a number of additives to produce highly cross-linked polymers with a 90% closed cell structure providing an excellent resistance to moisture penetration. Typical applications include: Oil Refinery, chemical process plant, cryogenic and Liquid gas plants, Rail and Marine transport, Refrigeration pipework, Food processing, brewery industries and MOD applications.
• Promasil 1000 Promasil 1000 is a tough highly efficient Calcium Silicate insulant manufactured by an energy efficient process involving mixing, moulding, pressing and finishing. Promasil 1000 far exceeds the performance requirements of BS 3958: Part 2: 1982: Calcium Silicate preformed insulation. Promasil 1000 complies with requirements of ASTM 533-95 with particular reference to strength and thermal property requirements. • Superplastic Superplastic® is an insulant powder form which is usually used for the general filling of joints between preformed insulation and for bedding in of slabs on irregular surfaces. It is also particularly suitable for insulation of complex shapes where application of preformed or fabricated insulation is impractical. Each 12.5kg Bag of Superplastic® is rated “Non Combustible” to BS 476 Part 4: 1970. They act in accordance with the fire performance requirements of Class “0” as characterised in the Building Regulations.
• Superset Ac1 Test Superset AC1® is hydraulic setting Portland cement based product, suitable for application over pre-formed, plastic or sprayable insulation. It can be used indoors or outdoors wherever an exceptionally hard and durable protection is required. Each 25kg bag of Superset AC1® should be mixed with 11 litres of water and applied over wire netting, expanded metal or wire reinforcement, in one 5mm layer and trowelled to a smooth finish. The dry Superset AC1® may be coated with PVA or water based paints; oil based paints will need an alkal resisttant primer applied to completely dry cement. Superset AC1® finishing cement conforms with BS 3958: Part 6.
