Ian Berg Plastics Ltd is a vastly experienced injection moulding company that manufactures high quality plastic components for a range of clients. Indeed, we have over 50 long standing loyal customers who operate across a broad spectrum of industrial and commercial sectors. Since our establishment in 1983, we have continually sought to improve our services through ongoing investment into highly skilled staff and state of the art machinery. Our team of plastic moulding engineers have considerable industry experience and comprehensive application understanding that enables them to produce first rate components. This dedicated team can bring to fruition even the most complex of moulding designs. It's our commitment to quality that makes Ian Berg Plastics one of the industry's leading sub-contractors. We operate an ISO approved quality assurance programme which helps us to maintain an excellent manufacturing standard, and our key objective of zero defects is close to being realised - many plastic moulders make this bold statement, few of them can actually back it up. Wastage levels in our facility are at an all time low, which means production is far more cost-effective. These are savings that we can pass on to you, the customer, so that you can also reduce costs and keep competitive in your respective market. Over the last three decades, we've also earned a reputation for customer service. As a firm with a family business culture, we can offer a personalised service for each and every customer, no matter how large or small their order. Moreover, our expert engineers are able to provide technical support and assistance so that when it comes to the production stage, the mould is right first time, every time. And, we make a point of abiding by our company objective of completing every order to schedule - that's why Ian Berg Plastics is the most reliable injection moulding company in the business. So when you need high quality plastic mouldings and a sub-contract partner that can really be relied upon, speak to Ian Berg Plastics Ltd! If you would like to find out more about who we are and what we do, please head to our website, or you can give us a call and speak to one of our friendly, helpful representatives. Below are some of the services that we provide.
At our facility in Wiltshire, we have several state of the art tapping, drilling and machining centres. These enable us to form components to the exact specifications laid down by the customer. We can also assemble the components as required. And, to complete a great service, we can even package them for you. For more information, please get in touch with the team at Ian Berg Plastics.
Ian Berg Plastics has the skills, experience and facilities to insert metal pieces such as pins, nuts and threaded inserts into the preformed plastic mould. These generally enhance the functionality of the plastic component, since the plastic itself is often not strong enough to be fixed or screwed to another part. Heat inserting is a process that has several benefits. It's accurate, repeatable, and localising the heat to the point where the insert is to be placed prevents warping, cracking, or any other effects which might distort the plastic.
With several specialised machines are our disposal, we're able to insert stainless steel, brass, or tin plated pins, studs, and blades into the mould. Introducing the inserts during the moulding phase has numerous advantages over post-mould inserting. It improves component consistency from one part to another, and reduces post mould operations. Of course, this also means that overall production time is faster.
Plastic Injection Moulding is our speciality, and with a diverse range of Arburg machines between 20 and 150 tonnes, we're able to manufacture virtually any type of plastic component. Component weight range is < 1.0 grm to 370 grms. We have experience handling a wide variety of materials, including ABS, polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, acrylic, polycarbonate, acetal, nylon, polyurethane, TPR, Capa, and even exotic materials such as Triax, Ixef, LCP, PET and Peek. For further information, please get in touch.
Ian Berg Plastics also has facilities for Tampo printing on plastic mouldings or metal. Customers can have up to three colours in fine print or solid colour, on both flat and contoured surfaces. A wide choice of colours are available, including metallic. The tampo printing process is extremely consistent and repeatable. If you would like further information on this service, please visit the Ian Berg Plastics website or get in touch directly.
Ultrasonic welding is the most effective way of joining two plastic components. It's fast, it's reliable, and it can potentially provide a seamless finish. For more details on this service, follow the link to our website or get in touch with our knowledgeable representatives.
Over the years, Ian Berg Plastics has manufactured some exceptional products, and we're very proud to have helped deliver innovative designs to the market.
