At Hodge Clemco Ltd we have a wealth of experience in the surface preparation industry, having incorporated in 1959 and being part of the 100 year old Samuel Hodge Group.  We supply and manufacture an extensive range of abrasive blast equipment and surface treatment equipment, including blast machines, abrasives, paint spray equipment, abrasive recovery and safety equipment.    Our commitment to quality is evidenced by the fact we were one of the first companies to achieve ISO9001 accreditation and are recognised today as a market leader, offering an unrivalled range of products.  We produce a large selection of blast rooms and cabinets, recovery systems and dust extraction plant, meeting a range of customers’ differing requirements.  We are proud to have undertaken many installations for prestigious customers such as the Ministry of Defence and Rolls Royce.

As leaders in the field of surface preparation, we at Hodge Clemco Ltd are pleased to offer a comprehensive range of abrasives in three categories.  Our expendable abrasives include, for example, JBlast Standard which is used for cleaning heavily corroded steel, marine growth, etc.  A sample product in the range of recyclable abrasives is aluminium oxide, for clearing non-ferrous components and for glass etching.  Our specialist range includes walnut shells, which are 100% biodegradable.  This abrasive is used for decarbonising, polishing and cleaning.  Have a look at our website for detailed information about all the products in these three ranges.

Blast Machines

We are proud to hold the highest possible reputation for our range of blast machines.  The Contractor range sets the standard across the industry with unrivalled performance, durability and safety.  Running costs are low with these high performance blasters.  We supply IBIX blasters which have been specifically designed with portability in mind and are ideal for shipping and offshore applications.  Plus, we have an extensive range of other specialist blast machines.  Have a look at our website for information on all the products available.

Blast Rooms

We provide a variety of different blast rooms for a wide range of uses.  Our containerised booths are ideal when space in the factory is limited or when a temporary site is put to use.  These booths are designed to be flexible, offering the customer options regarding size and recovery and dust collection systems.  Our modular, panelled booths are available in a range of sizes and are designed for internal use.  We also supply acoustic booths, which are essential when it is important to reduce noise.  There is much more information about blast rooms on our website, so do have a look.

Blast Cabinets

We have a range of blast cabinets, so you will find something suitable for cleaning and surface preparation of a diverse array of materials, such as metals, plastics, composites and rubber, electronics, glass, ceramics and wood.  Our suction blast cabinets give an attractive surface finish to a wide variety of materials.  We also supply pressure blast cabinets which are ideal for powering away heavy corrosion and rough coatings.  Take a look at our website to see the full range and find out more.

If you are in need of blast spares it makes sense to go to the UK’s largest supplier, Hodge Clemco Ltd.  We have thousands of spares in stock and pride ourselves on excellent prices and very fast delivery.  Once an item has been identified, our aim is to have the spares with you via carrier the next working day.  You can see a comprehensive catalogue via our website, so do have a look.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Nothing is more important than the safety of operators and personnel, which is why we offer a range of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to meet all sorts of different requirements.  You can rely on our PPE to ensure that operators are safe at all times during the blast process, whilst remaining comfortable and flexible.  You can access our wide range of PPE products on our website.

Dust Extraction

Efficient dust extraction is a crucial element when using blast machines.  If airborne particles are not effectively removed, efficiency is soon compromised.  Running costs will be considerably higher and system failure can easily result.  Our reverse pulse dust collectors utilise filters which are cleaned whilst the collector is in use, ensuring continued smooth running and longer life.

Our Service Department Coordinator leads a team of highly experienced engineers who can help you ensure your machinery continues in good, efficient working order.  We offer planned preventative maintenance schemes, as well as plant refurbishments.  Crucially, we undertake machine breakdown repairs, having the expertise needed to get all sorts of blast equipment up and running again.  We appreciate that down time is expensive time, so when urgent repairs are needed we are often able to get to the job within 24 hours.  You can speak directly to our Service Department Coordinator, whose contact details are on our website.
