We can offer cryogenic valves, globe valves, gate valves, check valves, pressure regulating valves, ball valves, Fire Safe valves, control valves, safety valves, pressure relief valves, LNG valves, Emergency Shut Off valves with the materials of construction including bronze valves, stainless steel valves and monel valves. All are available oxygen cleaned for use in medical gas or other critical applications. We can also provide a range of complete cryogenic valve systems which, alongside our bespoke service, offer a fast and effective solution for a huge range of valve system requirements.

Gate Valves

Herose are manufacturers of market leading gate valves that feature a three to five times greater flow than globe valves of the same size, helping to provide significant reductions in the length of time it takes to fill cryogenic trailers. Our hard wearing gate valves are used on trailers for the transport of cryogenic gas as well as LNG and other flammable liquids, and are capable of withstanding even heavy usage thanks to our soft-sealing technology. Herose produces both manually operated and actuated versions of our cryogenic gate valves: the Type 09340 and the Type 09343 respectively.

Globe Valves

Herose's comprehensive range of high quality globe valves represents the global standard within the industrial gas sector. Finding applications in numerous areas such as processing plant installations, trailers and storage vessels, our stainless steel globe valves provide a higher level of quality when compared with the more traditional predominantly bronze valves without any increase in cost. Herose has, in fact, been at the forefront of the industry's switch over from bronze to superior stainless steel which has helped with equipment enhancements whilst also extending the length of time between refurbishments. Our globe valves also feature an innovative gland packing which ensure an increased operating life.

Cluster Valves

With a range that includes two models of fill clusters with check functions and two models of cryogenic fill clusters, Herose can supply a suitable fill cluster valve to suite a wide range of purposes and situations. Our fill cluster valves have been manufactured in combined assemblies which helps to simplify piping as well as providing a reduction in the cost of installation. Our combined assemblies have even provided a reduction in plumbing time of an incredible 27 hours, allowing our vessel manufacturers to complete in just one hour. Our innovative design also helps to limit system leak points as well.

Emergency Shutdown Valves

Herose is apply to provide a wide selection of emergency shutdown valves, either manufactured in house or Herose Ltd approved. Designed specifically for the LNG and cryogenic industrial gas sectors, our range features both gate and globe emergency shutdown (ESD) valves which can be actuated manually, pneumatically or electrically. With fire-safe options available in our range, our emergency shutdown valves provide much faster fill and discharge abilities when used on cryogenic trailers. The closing time on our electrically actuated valves come in at under three seconds allowing them to be used with re-gasification units as well as plant and ship fuelling applications.

Control Valves

Control valves by Herose feature top-range positioners which provide highly accurate control of the flow of liquid or of down-line pressure. In situations using lines of 50 millimetres or bigger, control valves can be used to effectively replace standard pressure regulators. A range of flow characteristics can be taken into account with our control valves which can come with either proportional or linear trims. A bespoke trim option is also available in order to help our customers achieve exact results. New plants can benefit from our manual control valves which feature the same base valve trim as our actuated valves, providing an increase in flow control.

Overfill Protection Valves

In order to fulfill safety requirements following a major incident involving industrial gas almost two decades ago, Herose developed the Type MG-97: Cryoguard cryogenic overfill protection valve in conjunction with the TUEV Group who provide international certification for product quality and safety. The Cryoguard is now used as standard throughout Germany for trailer-filled cryogenic storage vessels. Our overfill protection valve can be supplied in stainless steel or bronze and can be electro-polished in order to provide added protection for high purity vessels. This product is ideal in situations that require a faster filling time and pumps dealing with higher capacities.

Breakaway Couplings

As part of the Herose Ltd Approved range of products, we are now able to supply breakaway couplings which provide an increased level of protection from cryogenic spills during transfers via filling lines. The Type K2C and Type ERC breakaway couplings, each manufactured in stainless steel and PTFE, provide a flow stoppage function from cryogenic liquid storage vessels as well as preventing back flow from trailers. Breakaway couplings are ideal pieces of protection equipment for plants that have to accommodate numerous different gas companies and their individual ESD devices.
