Sewing Thread

Our stocks of thread are fabricated from 100% polyester, which provides high efficiencies and is available in two different thread counts; 12/4 (20/4) and 12/5 (20/5).  All our threads are ring spun and come in a range of colours, some of which we hold in stock and others are available to order.  Please see our website for full specifications of our sewing thread, including breaking strain and yield values.

MR System

At Harfield Packaging Services, we are pleased to supply the fantastic MR System. This excellent sewing system is easy to install and is designed to close paper, polypropylene or polyethylene bags. It features a manual height adjustable column, adjustable overarm, Fischbein ‘Low Vibration’ Sewing Head Model 100 with rotary knife, rotary knife and photo sensor. The sewing process begins when the bag is detected by the photo sensor and is completed when the rotary knife cuts the chain. MUA Easy Open System

The MUA easy open system can be used with a wide range of materials, including paper, polyethylene and polypropylene. This technique allows bags to be sealed with an easy to open mechanism, creating a product which is more attractive to consumers.
