Customs Freight Simplified Procedures (CFSP) is an electronic entry reporting scheme designed for importers of non-EU goods. Our Ricardo CFSP solution is a fully integrated system offering a range of benefits. It can help users achieve Customs compliance, can guarantee paperless clearance at the port/ airport with consignments automatically cleared, can be implemented around existing commercial systems with standard tried and tested interfaces, is a universal system with more than 200 clients benefiting from the same system and functionality and there is no ‘paper chase’ with freight agents.

IPR

Inward Processing Relief (IPR) provides customs relief for the promotion of EC exports and assists Community processors. Our Ricardo IPR software offers a range of features:

• Control of movement and status of IPR goods from importation to final exportation
• Both drawback and suspension methods
• Monitoring authorisations
• Provision of manual receipts
• Automatic stock records set up from receipt details
• A bill of materials
• Monitoring stock through put periods and notification of goods approaching the end of their authorised throughput period.
• Equivalence, setting up stock records under equivalence arrangements
• Production of IPR claims each period, either monthly or for any other period of time

NES

The National Export System (NES) is an electronic export system developed by HM Customs. Under NES all goods must be positively released by HM Customs before being exported. Goods will not be dispatched until an export entry has been presented to HM Customs and confirmation of release is obtained. Our Ricardo NES Software provides a range of benefits including:

• A potential reduction in freight agents’ export clearance
• Speedy clearance through ports/ airports as consignments are automatically cleared

SASP

Single Authorisation for Simplified Procedures (SASP) represents a means of exploiting Pan-EU Customs Legislation. It allows importers to declare imports/warehouse removals and other procedures in one EU Member State in respect of physical imports that occur in other EU Member States.
