Prototyping

If you’re in need of prototypes for a new product or process, then you’re in the right place. At GP Products, we can produce prototype samples totally free of charge, providing we have the material you require in stock and you can supply us with an electronic drawing. Needless to say, we can still manufacture cut parts without either of these for a small nominal charge. Our prototypes are made using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM machinery which provides a quality finish and a fast turnaround. Converting Your Materials

GP Products are always happy to assist in converting your own materials, so if you’re producing a special material that needs converting into finished cut parts, just give us a call. We’ll provide a competitive quote based on your requirements. Customer materials are quarantined separately within our factory, and any remaining materials will be returned to you along with the cut components once the project is completed. It usually takes between 7 and 10 days from receipt of your materials to have them ready as finished cut parts.

Stock Materials

GP Products has huge range of stocked materials, all of which can be found on our website. It includes jointing materials like natural rubber, neoprene and EPDM, plastics and composites such as ABS, Acrylic, PTFE and Nylon, and miscellaneous materials like plywood, foil, fibreglass and ceramics. We also stock a wide variety of standard ready made gaskets, diaphragms, extrusions, joint rings, pads and filters. PU Sheeting

GP Products is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of polyurethane sheeting. We’re able to provide trade and wholesale customers with high quality sheeting up to a maximum of 3 x 1 metres, in virtually any thickness. All of our polyurethane sheeting supplies are manufactured in accordance with European Standards, giving you complete assurance over quality and durability. Popular uses include industrial wheel coverings, roller coverings, industrial flooring, blast screens, gaskets and shims, chain guides and conveyor belting. Cutting Services

GP Products has extensive cutting facilities allowing us to offer a range of services, including:

• Die Cutting – This is the most common method for cutting shapes from soft flat sheet or roll material. GP Products has a range of presses and is able to cut both large and small components with tolerances to within +/- 0.25mm very cost-effectively. 
• Dragknife Cutting – This process is ideal for cutting thin solid materials such as rubber and plastics up to a thickness of 3mm. CAD/CAM facilities enable rapid production at cost-effective rates. 
• Water Jet Cutting – This is a modern cutting process that requires no tooling and results in no material distortion or discolouration. It is also highly accurate, with tolerances of 0.1mm achievable. 
• Log Slitting & Stripping – This is for customers who need to convert wide master rolls of rubber or sponge into thinner rolls of a desired length without having to unroll and re-roll it.

Assembly, Kit Building & Fabrication Services

GP Products has its own in-house facilities for the fabrication and assembly of finished components, so if you’re having problems sourcing assembled parts, just give us a call. All assembly processes are carried out under one roof and are subject to an ISO 9001 quality management system, so you can be absolutely confident in the quality of the finished products.
