Products

Fullbrooks of England are plaster mouldings specialists whose highly skilled master craftsmen manufacture an extensive range of ornamental decorative plaster mouldings including cornices, corbels, panel mouldings and ceiling roses.  Alongside our Heritage Range of mouldings we also work with clients to create bespoke architectural mouldings either from your sketches or architectural drawings, or for restoration projects we are able to repair and replicate existing ornamental features or recreate missing pieces from archive data and drawings or photographs.

All of our internal mouldings are lovingly handcrafted from reinforced fibrous plaster using traditional methods, which are far superior in quality and durability to modern mass-produced mouldings.  They offer exceptional strength and are simple to maintain. For external architectural mouldings our craftsmen will use glass reinforced polyester (resin), glass reinforced cement, cast stone or jesmonite.

Our Heritage Range of cornices, panel mouldings, corbels and ceiling roses offers a vast choice of both simple and intricate designs that are based on original patterns from the Georgian, Victorian, Regency and Edwardian periods.

Please contact us to discuss your project or use our online form to request a brochure.

Plaster Cornices

Our Heritage Range includes a selection of over 80 stunning cornices all of which are replicas of original cornice designs spanning a range of periods including Georgian, Regency and Victorian.  From the timeless elegance of the Swan Neck cornice to the intricate detailing on the Ladbrook Regency cornice we are certain to have a style to suit your design vision.  Each piece is loving hand crafted from durable, reinforced fibrous plaster, which is incredibly easy to maintain. Our Heritage cornices are perfect for creating a period feel in modern properties as well as for retaining character in historic buildings. Please see our website for images of our Heritage Range of cornices and to request a brochure.

Panel Mouldings

Choose from 19 different eye-catching panel mouldings with differing profiles to create decorative detailing in your property and allowing you to incorporate features such as dado rails and feature areas for paintings and wall art.  Typically used to break up large, open areas of walls, panel mouldings are a beautiful way of introducing character to a property. Please see our website for pictures of our panel mouldings range.

Corbels

Enrich the interior of your property by incorporating corbels into your design scheme.  Originally used to support beams, these stunning mouldings are now used to add decorative elegance around internal and external archways, beams and piers.  We have more than 25 designs to choose from in our Heritage Range, all of which have been fabricated by hand and are modelled on original period designs. Pictures of these stunning corbels are available to view on our website.

Ceiling Roses

Accentuate ceiling pendants with an ornate ceiling rose, instantly adding charm and character to any room.  Our diverse range includes simple, elegant designs such as the CP10 and CP15, as well as the stunningly intricate detailing of the CP12 and CR5; whatever design style you are striving to create we are certain to have a ceiling rose that will enrich your scheme.

Restoration

Good restorations are tricky to get right, but the key is in the architectural detailing of the building and it is important to conserve its character wherever possible. Decorative plasterwork is now so valued in period properties that poor workmanship or absence of features can vastly devalue a property.  We have over 25 years restoration experience under our belts, carefully working with existing plasterwork and painstakingly restoring it to its natural beauty, and in turn helping to bring buildings back to life. On our website you will find some before and after examples of restoration work that we have carried out in situ, in particular the intricate repair work carried out on a Neo-classical dome at Thirlestaine House, Cheltenham.

Bespoke

Employ the skills and expertise of our Master craftsmen who will work with you to create stunning, bespoke plasterwork to your own designs. For restoration projects we are able to work with and replicate existing patterns, alternatively, if you want a unique design for your property, simply let us know your ideas and we can deliver customised plasterwork to complement your architectural and design style; “if you can draw it – we can make it”.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements in detail and we will be happy to provide you with a quotation.

Commercial

As expert craftsmen in the field of plasterwork, we are proud to have worked with a number of high profile and prestigious hotels, retail organisations, shopping centres and offices spaces over the years, helping to create beautiful, eye-catching spaces. Period Styles

Our moulding designs are drawn from a variety of historical periods and are taken from original patterns, ensuring an authentic look is achieved.  Our cornice and moulding designs are reflective of popular patterns from the Georgian, Regency, Victorian and Edwardian eras, each possessing its own distinct character and style.  You can discover more detailed information about each period on the Period Styles page of our website.

Gallery

We have developed a Gallery on our website to showcase just some of the recent projects we have worked on, including our architectural restoration work at several historic buildings across the UK. You will also find examples of some of our bespoke intricate architectural mouldings, sculpting and modelling work.  Our highly skilled team are able to work with your architectural designs, CAD drawings or sketches, and will lovingly hand craft mouldings to the highest quality from long-lasting fibrous plaster. Please take a look at our gallery for inspiration or contact us to discuss your design ideas.
