Turning Services

We stock a range of turning machinery – cutting equipment for certain engineering processes – for use in precise medium-batch and small-batch production. Our range of turning machines includes the Cincinnati Hawk 200c, with a multifeed bar feeder for medium to larger batch work up to a diametre of 51mm ( 2” ) in a collet chuck and parts catcher; the XYZ Proturn SLX555 for smaller batch work with CNC or manual use; the XYZ Proturn 410 with similar functions as the SLX555 but with a smaller swig overbed; and the Excel Mustang 400 CNC Precision Centre Lathe.

Milling Services

We hold two milling machines – equipment for removing material from workpieces with rotary cutters – for small and large batches. The Cincinnati Dart 500 Vertical Milling Centre has a 20-station auto-tool changer and is ideal for smaller size batch work. And the Yang Eagle 1000 Vertical Milling Centre is a more powerful machine, also with a 20-station auto-tool changer, but capable of holding larger workpieces and accommodating larger batches.
