Since launching FlexiSail in 2010, in order to add a greater personal identity to their business, and, with Ipswich on the East coast added in March 2012 to the ever increasing choice of locations, 2013 will see further expansion Europe-wide as the business goes from strength to strength.

FlexiSail Membership

Boat share...but without the worries that come with ownership!

Offering 3 levels of membership, you can tailor your yacht sharing needs the way you want; with our FlexiSail midweeker you’re guaranteed and provided with free ‘last minute’ (within 2 days) midweek off-peak sailing time throughout the year - starts from just £360 per month (inc. VAT). Our FlexiSail Weekender gives you peak time weekend sailing plus a weekday to give you extra flexibility to sail for long weekends (3 days), plus additional free ‘last minute’ weekend and weekdays. Yacht and Motor Boat Share

How it works. Shared between a small number of members, FlexiSail membership shares time on a particular yacht or motor boat (1 owner plus a max of 7 full members). Full members (FlexiAnytime) will receive the equivalent of 6 weeks or 42 days per year of sailing which is bookable up to 12 months in advance, split over the 6 two month booking rotations. Additionally you can almost double access through the use of free ‘last minute’ (less than 2 days) bookings. For most people this is more than enough! Business Membership

Whilst many other corporate activities and events are visited too often, and tired, sailing or motor cruising is a great way to spend time with other people, whether it be business colleagues, staff, clients or friends; plus you get to sail yourself! Going out sailing for the day will add new experiences to team building and building on relationships, whilst doing what you enjoy doing the most. Sailing is both active and fun and a date people are sure to prioritise in their diaries. In addition business members can significantly reduce the overall real cost of their membership by treating it in full, or part, as marketing.

FlexiCrew Membership

When joining our FlexiCrew membership programme, your personal details such as your name, some contact info and photograph will be added to our iCalendar crew database for 12 months from the joining date. All members organise their sailing by regularly accessing iCalendar and if they (or you!) are short of crew then your details will be visible so that you can be contacted about your availability. Additionally you will receive the opportunity to join in on social events and be included on our mailings.

Locations - Hamble

Considered the ‘mecca’ on the south coast and with superb views from the quay over the Hamble River and marinas, Hamble is a wonderful maritime village with history going back to the 9^th century! The River Hamble is an ideal base for cruising, whether your horizon’s are limited to the Solent or Isle of Wight, or, extend further afield! There are many other seaside ports within easy reach of Hamble like Chichester (going east) and Lymington or Poole (going west). Additionally our fleet is actually based at Port Hamble Marina, just a couple of minutes walk from the village with many inviting pubs and restaurants nearby.

Locations - Lymington

Sheltered behind the Isle of Wight, sitting on the mouth of the Lymington River on the Solent, is the picturesque town of Lymington. One of those places everyone falls in love with, a longer maritime life actually predates the social sea traffic of the town today. Its cobbled streets, distinctive buildings and homes define much of the character in this Georgian market town where the main street leads down to a cobbled road on the quay. Access into the Solent takes virtually no time and a wide choice of places to sail awaits you from there. Give us a call to find out more.

Locations - Ipswich

Sailing upriver from the marina you’ll come across a hub of activity as you arrive at the entrance to the Ipswich waterfront. You can enjoy a pleasant evening’s entertainment after you berth in one of the two secure marinas. However, if you’d rather visit the hamlet of Pin Mill, featured in children’s novels by Arthur Ransome, then you’d best head downriver. On your way you’ll pass an abundance of birdlife and, if you’re lucky, a seal, before arriving at the UK’s largest container port, the Port of Felixstowe. Ownership - Overview

We can introduce you to a totally new way of buying a yacht without the financial woes. FlexiSail can offer you a substantial income, not just in the summer, but throughout the year, your running costs will be paid and, very importantly, the few select members that have access to your yacht - you will personally know! Not only that but you may even decide to opt for a larger or higher quality boat than you might otherwise have been interested in. Yacht Ownership

There’s always a ‘but’, even if you’re able to afford to buy a yacht; one, you don’t have enough time to justify the cost. Two, with limited leisure time you don’t want to take on the responsibility including its maintenance, management and so on. Three, your family likes yachting but you don’t want to feel obliged to be on the boat to justify it; all of these are fair...

...‘but’, there are three amazing reasons to buy a yacht with us - 84 days exclusive use of your boat in year one, full payment by FlexiSail of all the maintenance and management, and, a guaranteed income. Check the site out for more details.

Buying a Motor Boat

As with the yacht ownership package, buying  a motor boat is a similar deal, except, you get 92 days exclusive free use of your boat in year one, again, full payment by FlexiSail for all things like marina fees, insurance, maintenance, engine servicing, cleaning and so on, PLUS a guaranteed income over and above the costs stated above. We have exceptional demand for our membership programme and we are specifically looking for people interested in buying 32, 34, 37 and 40 foot yachts and a 34 to 38 foot motor cruiser. We also consider accepting nearly new boats into our programme.

Social Events

We organise a number of events during the year because we believe that FlexiSail should be family inclusive and fun. In fact the social aspect of our programme can add another dimension to your membership! You’ll meet like-minded people and you can choose to drop in or out as you please. Social boating can be a wonderful way for you to gently introduce your partner or children to the world of sailing - in a warm, fun and friendly way. FlexiSail Boat Show Days

We have a huge range of FlexiSail boat shows and open days lined up for 2013 and beyond. We’ll have varying yachts and motor cruiser available for you to view. We’ll also provide any information you require and refreshments. Please also bring your friends and family if you wish. Forthcoming Events

As a result of organising numerous events throughout the year, many members choose to set out and sail together, even moving their boats, in some cases, so they can have more time together. Amongst our approaching events is the Mediterranean flotilla - Saronic Gulf, Greece during the 24^th - 31^st August 2013! Following two years of successful flotillas to Croatia we’ve decided to visit the Saronic Gulf. There are many benefits to sailing in this area, such as constant warm sunshine and the shelter brought about by the Attic coast.

Boat Share Fleet

Based at Port Hamble Marina AND the Yachthaven Marina in Lymington, our boat share scheme will provide you with a variety of yachts and motor boats. These are the two most sought after locations in the Solent. Our website will show you a range of attractive yachts and boats, and clicking on the boat or model itself will show you more about each one and its specifications, including photographs and a video introduction. Prices

Compared to the cost of owning a boat, our membership sailing fees represent astonishing value for money. Our boats are located in the top marinas and our prices reflect the high spec, age and quality of our boats whilst also taking into account our commitment to fleet maintenance. On our website is a membership fee calculator; just choose your preferred boat, membership level and length of membership. The cost given to you will include VAT. Our FlexiSail Ppromise

We believe you will be delighted at the condition of our boats, that you will enjoy our fun and highly organised social programme and appreciate the personal touch we give to our business, but, we don’t expect you to just take our word for it (and therefore take any financial risk to find out). We provide three ‘key’ guarantees to you; one, your holding deposit is refundable in full. Two, we extend your cooling off period to 48 hours prior to the start of your training, and, three, we give you a third opportunity to change your mind. Please see the site for more information.
